how is this possible ???

also with a diet its nearly impossible to look that way (left pic) as a normal weighted person like christian bale !!
mean the right pic i can accept to make it with a diet - but the left is real impossible in my opinion - its short before hungerdead -
that can´t be healthy
is it possible that this is computer animated in some way ?

It's real - I think the lighting makes it look worse.

Reportedly, Bale lost the weight by exercising continuously - eating no more than the occasional apple. When it came time to gain the weight for his role as Batman, he couldn't do a single push-up. Six months later he was 100 pounds heavier.

Bale is the best actor of this generation.

Machinist wasn't all that great overall, but aside from that and Equilibrium (which was kinda cheesy but still enjoyable), I haven't seen him make any duds. Have not seen the latest Terminator though, I heard that was pretty bad compared to his average.

I enjoyed The Machinest, but the end was anticlimactic - didn't quite live up to the strength of the previous 90 minutes. Great acting though.

This week's "Monday Obscure Movie Recommendation"®©TM ....

Why did no one see this 2007 crime drama? Probably because it was directed by Ben Affleck. Still, it landed on a number of movie critics "Top 10" list. Definitely worth a look.

Trailer...

Just watched 'The Mist' a few nights ago. I remember seeing previews for it and dismissing it as a lame cheap thrill horror flick, which is what I expected from it as I watched.

WRONG. I was pleasantly surprised, it started out as I expected, and without giving too much away....

spoilers?

it evolved into a lord of the flies story in the Half Life universe. Very intense last 40 minutes.

Another reason to like Bale...

Wiki wrote:During an interview promoting his 2009 film Public Enemies Bale said he is a video game fan, specifically of the Metal Gear Solid series.

Has anyone ever seen The boys of Sunset Ridge? Its got Mr. Miyagi, Paulie from rocky, and the dad from home alone in it (cba to google real names lol). Its all about 4 boys who join this country club to play golf once a month and how they travel through their lives, until they are all old men, and evntually there is only one left. I thought it was a cracking film, and i hate golf lol.
