That's how long my hair is right now I have no idea how he fights like that though, I would tie my hair in a high ponytail if I were him, his hair has to be getting in his face.

I unfortunately can't afford to buy UFC 111 but I just want to say one thing...GSP is going to kill Dan Hardy!!

hardy is clearly the outsider in that bout. its his first big event for him

but more than that bout ,i can´t wait to see frank mir vs. shane carvin !!
mean mir is the bigger name,great submissions ,but i go clearly with carvin for the win .
when MIR can bring the fight to the ground- than it will be hard for carvin to win.
his stand up is outstanding - he is so fast wfor a heavyweight .
i think he knock out frank mir in round 1
hope than for a fight carvin -velasquez .

what is with him? is he fit to come back in heavyweight division ?
i heared he got a engagement as swine whisperer in IDAHO lol

in past he fights mostly in fight night .
forward i didn´t checked out what is the differrence between fight nights und regular UFC EVENTS ??

i thought is a 2 class event for fighter where not good enough for regular tournaments .
than i thought its more a qualifier tournement for championshipchallenger - but that is also wrong.

I agree, I predict a 1st or 2nd round SUBMISSION WIN for GSP....Hardy is going to get a very harsh wake-up call, he is not ready for somebody as talented as GSP; he's a cheesy dork with a cheesy haircut and he's going to get embarassed, severely.

I also agree about Mir v. Carwin...Carwin should win this fight and I hope he does. After Mir's comments about Lesnar (wanting to kill him, etc) I'm no longer a fan of Frank Mir in any way and in fact I just want to see him go away/disappear. His comments about Lesnar were embarassing not only for him but for all fans of MMA...he's making us look stupid for following a sport where people threaten to kill another man. Carwin should KO early.

Lesnar has recovered from his illness and is going to be returning to fighting, I'm just not sure when. I'm very happy about this though, Brock Lesnar is an awesome fighter IMO (even though many people hate him) and he is far and away the most dominant HW in the UFC...I'm looking forward to Carwin/Velasquez, too. That would be an exciting fight and whoever wins it deserves to take on Brock Lesnar for the HW title.

Jon Fitch is a great fighter, awesome jiu jitsu...GSP is the only guy in UFC to pass Fitch's defensive guard on the ground BTW, that tells you something about how good Fitch is on the ground. I don't think I've seen Ben Saunders fight, actually...I looked him up though and he is trained in JEET KUNE DO!! That's the style that Bruce Lee invented

Unfortunately I don't know either what the difference between Fight Nights and regular UFC events are I've also wondered this but I can't find a clear answer anywhere.

Well, UFC 111 has come and gone, and the 2 fights I was most interested in went pretty much as predicted, with GSP winning by a clear decision and Carwin winning by 1st round KO. Can't wait to watch these fights soon.

i was coming home right now and one of the first thing i done was to watch the ufc 111 results ,and than to search for a free UFC 111 download.

can´t wait to watch it tonight.
there was a download for every fight singular (smaller size ) but i download the whole event + premilary fights

the carvin -frank mir fight must be a war .
i´m little surprised that dan hardy can stand over 5 rounds about GSP.
the nate diaz fight must be also great .

hes a pride and K1 fighter.
he looks a little like kevin randleman .he had fightet alot big names in MMA
hes fighting for strikeforce now!!
i saw also dan henderson is fighting for strikeforce now.
when more fighter like this caliber comes to strikeforce organisation ,than strikeforce can be very interrest to watch in future

I know who Overeem is....he got DQ'd versus Cro Cop for hitting him in the nuts!!

He also got brutally KO'd by Shogun Rua in Pride.

He's a very good stand-up fighter (good fighter period) but he's pathetic on the ground.

Dan Henderson however, is one of my top 3 favorite fighters. He is an animal. I agree with you about Strikeforce; it seems like they are becoming a more legit MMA organization with the inclusion of good fighters like FEDOR (ok he's not 'good' he's a 'GOD'), Hendo, and Overeem. I hope they can become a true competitor with the UFC, it would be interesting to have 2 world-class MMA organizations.

It was so cool when Overeem knocked out Badr Hari at Dynamite 2008.

He s a very good fighter, but i wouldn t bet on him as "clean" athlete. Does he use steriods? Could be...

yes its still possible overreem use steroids. only kevin randleman looks more muscled than overeem. thats not normal muscle.

i liked it more how BADRA HARI knocked out overreem in K1 FINALS 2009 D

Well, he s alongside with Schilt the best K-1 fighter at the moment, and has potential for more.
But since his 2008 final vs. Bonjasky (hitting and kicking him while he was on the ground) he lost some credit on my card.

i think bonjasky is a rabbit fighter. i saw the fight hari -bonjasky .

bonjasky goes in the ring without to fight!!!
he run away allways and only defending himself. without a offense punch or kick .

i can understand BADRA in that case. (mean i understand why< he have done it )
but without a doubt that was over the line . and he got punished for that .
HARI is a true fighter who hates scary rabbits like bonjasky.
the good thing in past fights from bonjasky was allways his flying knee and his high kicks . but since 2 years he changed his style totally. and not in a good way in my opinion-

Yes i agree, Bonjasky s style is not very attractive since 2007. Maybe because he realized his chin is not the best.

From 2003 - 2006 he fought very offensive, but most of the time against opponents without much power (Cyril Abidi, Musashi).
Since he was knocked down by Mighty Mo and Sem Schilt, he changed his style.

The same imo with Wladimir Klitschko. Since his brutal defeats against Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster he changed his style as well, and like Bonjasky not to his advantage.

that is true, after this defeats he changed it. with this tactic he can beat lower skilled fighter . also its very unattractive to watch
i saw the zimmermann - bonjasky fight in finals . i´m not anymore a big fan from rene .

at all what BADR did in finals 2008 was not correct .but i like his style. he goes in ring to fight. to got a KO
as example his last 2 fights about schild . exactly how he fightet him in amsterdam (ko schield ) was awesome.
also the fight he loosed was great . A hop or top fighter . punch opponent ko or go yourself KO . so i´m forward a BADR HARI fan . also with his NO GO in finals 2008

by both klitschko i also noticed that they fight different . totally different. much more passive- not like dr eisenfaust like before. i supposed earlier its maybe about more commercial time

BTW: i think overeem have no chance in strikeforce. his groundgame is ridicolous (like jon mentioned earlier )
so in stand up he is awesome. but when the fight goes to ground he fights like my grandma

Right about Overeem...in MMA it doesn't really matter how good you are in stand-up IF your ground game sucks. People will not even try to stand-up fight with you, they'll simply take you down everytime and exploit your huge weakness.
