Change player in Topspin School?

Postby xFCBxOVERLORDxxDISABLED » Fri, 05 Mar 2010 00:04

I was just wondering if you can change players in the topspin 3 school so It can scan my serve since I'm trying to use a different serve. Is this possible?

Probably a good thing. If we could take our custom players there to practice serves, we might not ever see any breaks.

That's bull :-)

Really I don't see why people using A can pratice their serve and other serves can't practice. No logic . :? :(

Yeah there is no logic to that, it's just a stupid mistake by the developers

It only really helps if you have the exact same serve stat. You can practice the timing, but not the aiming.

But I don't think it was intended as a practice mode, just a tutorial to teach you the basics.

It's good to practice there. And it has no use to practice with serve A and then really play with Feds serve.

To me, it helps with the timing of button release to practice there. For aiming though, I don't find it helps at all, it seems easier to aim in the practice but the 'aim timing' is not the same during play.

You only learn the basics in the school. My example being you can hit an 'excellent' drop shot, but in reality it was a bad one (too long, high and loopy etc)
