Nyg is a prick he does that because he has no other abilities to actually play the game. :-)

I would also like to share all my tips on any shots where I can, so if people want to follow up on posting a vote with a "how to" question I will be more than happy to try and tell you how I do it - I don't mind giving away my game if it helps other people.

E.g. How players volley and it just drops over the net and dies flat, or how to use the stick when serving for kick etc?

Some of the better players will probably know how to do most of the shots but newbies who are developing their skills may be oblivious to shots that can be played.

A lot of it comes with timing and practice, and players develop their own button combinations so sometimes it is hard to explain but its worth a try...

...If no one wants to share tips with each other than thats fine, just answer the poll because I know I am interested to see if I am the only one who struggles with certain shots.

jaysis bro, would love to hear ANYTHING you have to say about any and all aspects of technique!

You know my style i reckon - I struggle greatly with any kind of risk play, except on serve - and stick-serving is pretty much reserved for powering straight at opponents body....

Like i say, would be grateful to hear anything anyone has to say about shot-execution, counters to tough-serves (soundofsilence question resonates, for example re the wide-serve...?)...anything really - we've played quite a few times....I can hold my own in the ladies, but get mauled in the mens...!!!

Nice one on posting bro!

That's the exact same situation for me. Certainly makes for interesting matches most time.

I can execute everything but I tense up during rallies and almost never use risk during rallies because I'm afraid to make the mistake. I risk serve all the time but after serve I become basic baseliner w/no risk. If not for lag I would risk during rallies. But lag almost always throws me off.
