It's all very depressing. For the sake of my sanity, these are the three movies I'm watching next:

Yes indeed, it's again Monday. Time for "Monday's Obscure Movie Recommendation"®©TM

This neo-noir crime thriller is a gem. VERY highly recommended.

Image

Critically acclaimed, I was shocked to learn that this film only earned 3.8 million at the box office ($8 of that was mine). The film is WAY better than that.

The film stars Gina Gershon <--Q, just to be safe, better not click. Trust me when I say, a few of her scenes in the movie are worth the price of admission. :P

The trailer....

Got inspired by your obscure moives Cro and felt I have to make a contribution. This is probably one of the most obscure and disturbing movies I've ever seen. Has anyone here seen it?

I have heard of Night Patrol, never saw it.

I just watched the trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrHfHHHoL5c and it reminds me a lot of the short-lived (yet very funny) TV show called "Police Squad."

Anyone ever see Police Squad? It was made by the same guys (Zucker brothers) who made Airplane (starring SIM tour specialist, T. Striker).

Yeah, I've seen most episodes a long time ago. It's ok, it's where the Naked gun-movies was sprung from if I'm not mistaken.

I don't know if Night patrol is a must see, and it's pretty hard to find, but it's a sick movie. Really sick.

It's got one of my all time favourite movie-dialogues:

-If you're ever going to get married, marry an ugly woman.
- Why?
- Because if you marry a beautiful woman it won't take long before she runs off with a younger much better looking man.
- But so can an ugly woman?
- Yeah, but who gives a shit...

Fire in the Sky is in the top 10 of greatest/most powerful experiences of all time for me, counting any form of media... Really is impossible to describe accurately how powerful the movie is.
