Questions about Ps3

I love the Ps3 as the action is so much more smoother and I feel that it helps my play. I entered my first tournament today and I'm excited but I have a couple questions though:

Does anyone else accidently press the playstation button while rallying because they use primarily the joystick to play? I have lost some important points from this. I think I won a match last night because my opponent did that exact thing on an incredibly important point during the tiebreak.

Is it possible to IM like on xbox tour?

I only use the joystick, but have never accidentally pressed the Playstation button.

I press the start button by mistake all the time when I serve with the stick on the xbox. It causes the game to pause and sometimes I end up losing the point as my player obviosuly won't move

I don't do it on TS3, but in UFC: Undisputed I hit the Xbox button ALL THE TIME and it's cost me a ton of fights....I don't play ranked matches so I guess it doesn't really 'matter', but it's so incredibly annoying.

Yeah, I occasionally press the ps-button or the start-button when stick-serving, especially when using the slice. Pretty annoying, although usually i'm back quick enough.

Yeah, I do it when I'm trying to either submit somebody or escape a submission, but actually it happens the most when I'm rotating the right stick to try to defend against a takedown attempt. My technique (I use the palm of my hand, not my thumb) to spin the stick lets me spin it really fast and consistently, but it results in me hitting the Xbox button way too often
