It's been a while since I used him, so I can't say for sure. And I've gotten so used to Striker that anyone would probably seem fast now.

I found it frustrating at times i couldn't threaten his serve at all. It felt really like 90\40 on his servegames. I have to admit i found his servegames boring and mine more lively, one might say vibrant lol.

I totally agree, playing against Bashmakov is so frustrating and boring, simply can't return his rocket's serves.

djarvik wins coke4 QF 6-3, 7-6, 7-6

Fantastic match. A few disconects, but it saeem to not give advantage to either of us.

Long rallies with some great points.

Coke: I decided to continue to play with Sixx. TOMO will destroy me, but so what. I simply refuse to play with Bashamkov. Its not me, I don't just "change the player" or resort to tactics to win a match. So.....Sixx it is.

I am shooting for RG. I think my movment with Sixx is superb. I feel like if I don't attack - I can keep the ball in play forever.

Jose, get ready for TOMO

Are you implying I "play to lose" ?

I want to beat him - on my terms. I would not have it any other way.

TOMO wins Djarvik.
6.2 6.3 6.4

As expected, I was not able to return a single serve of his. Lag + SIM players + 90 serve just don't mix. There is no place for 90 power in SIM as well. This was a bad version of 40-90 tour match. Laggy as hell, serve - risk return or 1-2 punch and tennis was nowhere to be found today. MIA.

First set was risk short slice galore from TOMO. After each of his serve, in every rally, short slice followed by hard shot deep, repeat. With 90 power it was easy to push me back and then short slice.....I stopped playing second set and asked him stop doing it, as I am not interested in that kinda match and will simply quit. Thanks to him for listening and stoping it. I respect that. Second set was close, but as you can imagine when both players risk return and one of them has 90 power and 76 return where the second one has 65 power and 53 return, the first one will eventually break. Same way was the third set.

It is not TOMO's fault, so I can't be mad at him (scratch the first set) but there is absolutelly nothing SIM in Bashamkov. It is not even a question of having a Hard Hitter and Big Server on the roster....it is not that....it is simply that the game is broken, the TS3 itself is out of ballance. There is no way a guy with 54 speed should reach so many balls, no way.....I don't care how good you are...if you have 54 speed you are not supposed to play defensive game and pull Nadal like shots. I had to hit 3-4 double trigger shots to get the point....hard enought right? ...well, I did that....but....when you combine all that with a 90+90 serve/power ....hmm....too much. When and if I was able to get the rally started, I managed to do just fine. But to start the rally on equall terms requires to risk return, and L2 deep doesn't do the trick, so the options you have is a short cross L2 or L2+R2 all the way. On serve, to start the rally, you have to serve GOOD and then imidiatly follow with L2 risk or other risk. That what works against TOMO's Bashy, I figured it out and was able to execute it for short periouds of time perfectly....trouble is...you need to do in 4 times in a raw to break or hold

Brrrr...Anyway, congrats to TOMO on his win he played a very solid match, I have only myself to blame, both for thinking Bash can "work" in SIM Tour when creating him and for not being able to execute the plan I found to work at the later stage of the match.

I am just glad The Monster will be adjusted soon.

Rant over, I feel better now   8)
