You think it would matter if Murray would take a GS winner as a coach.
Give him the edge to win one?
No. I don't think so. That is Boris being cocky.
There are plenty of GS winners that didn't have a GS winner on their stuff.
If you ask me, its crap.
If you, me and the rest of the world can diagnose Murray's problem, so can any coach and so he himself. His problem is not in "heart", "mind" or anything like that - its tactics. Not to say that with right tactics he still may have a "head" issue and not to say that his lack of aggressiveness IS "head" issue.
He has enough in him, enough tools to win multiple GS titles. He does need someone new in his camp, but not necessarily a GS winner, rather a coach, any coach, that Murray will listen to. ...and change up his game.
