He lost , but what a backhand.

The shots he can make with that backhand is just amazing. I wish Federer could master Gasquets down the line. And inside outs etc etc.

Anyways just amazing to see such a nice single handed backhand doing the damage.

It's rare these days.

If only he could hit a good backhand when he's up in the match. 5-3 serving for match lost it , tie break 2-0 made 2 doubles faults at 2-1 and never won a point again in the match.
Work me a boss.

True but all credit to M. He his an amazing forehand winner and a great lob where Richard did nothing wrong.

But I didn't really wanna talk what he should do better. But more drewl over his backhand :-)

Stanislaw Wawrinka, Richard Gaquet, Philipp Kohlschreiber and maybe Michael Youzhny are the best at that right now.

I think Mikhail Youzhny has a great backhand too!! Richards is probably the best on tour (for a while). Federer had a nice one, but I don't know what happened.

amazing backhand from gasquet but it seems he did need more weapons to beat the cypriot storm!

Gooo Marcos!

Watching the Gasquet/Baghdatis match, one thing really popped out at me with regards to Gasquet...his FH sucks!! He has quite possibly the fruitiest looking FH I've ever seen on a pro, and he really can't seem to do that much with it. He's gonna stay right where he is until his FH gets better.

Nah, it's a little better than Murray's. It's still bad, though. He just kind of 'slaps' at the ball and hits loopy little farts off his FH side.

LOL. That is a funny description of the forehand, but I'll take it.

Ready to have fun, i don´t use it in real life though :D i find it good if you like hitting winers but not if you are a baseliner and want to keep long rallies (my crazy thoughts i guess)

That is what I am talking about. I mentioned these two guys before knowing the draw. Wow. I think Gasquet can pull of the win, but Youzny has a nice backhand and forehand.
