Roddick and Blake both drop out of davis cup

Roddick and Blake have both dropped out of the upcoming davis cup match verse Serbia.

This is the first time since 2001.

What is weird is that in the new TENNIS magazine it said that we would see roddick drop davis cup to concentrate on slams and then bam it happened. Sort of weird to me.

what do you think of this?

This is very disappointing, maybe if they werent playing a great team, but Serbia have Djokovic and then Troicki and Tipsaravic, and both are looking great !

you still really can't count the US out...

They will win doubles, and there is a good chance that Isner and Querrey can both beat Tipsarevic.

I think blake will have a better year than last year and climb back into the top 20.

I watch a acouple of his matches in brisbane and he didnt look that bad. I say that this will be his last good year and after that its back down the rankings

Which country is hosting? If I were Blake, I would not want to play on dirt against Serbia either. It would hurt my confidence and would not gain me anything.

What are you smoking? I dont think Querry has one a match this year so far, lost all his matchs (i think) and Andy is in the quarters/semis of Brisbane. :weirdo
