Even with 55 on serve i was able to serve quite well (in my opinion...)
It just changes the timing for the direction...
My "tip" is i look the ball only...
With 55 i start putting direction slightly after the ball left the hand...
With 75 almost before the ball left the hand...
Then i release and let go the serve as soon as the ball start to go down...
It works pretty well for me! :D I mix S&V a lot and i found i can often be almost on the lines...(double trigg all the time...)Only when stamina is down i only use 1 trigg to serve...

i almost exclusively use analog to serve now.

Im thinking of using Tompson, I want to use a player like my current defensive baseliner Morrow, Petrelli/Alex/Sound, do you think he will work for me?

for me the defensive baseliner players on the list are:
-Sixx
-Bucci
-Johnson
-thompson

-Sixx is good.very fast.Great fh or bh.But has too low return...
-Bucci has only 68 speed but has 90 stamina that makes him faster than u could think.u should try...
-Johnson and Thompson are very similar:
T has more pw,sv,re,st
J has more groundstrokes,vl
I'd say Johnson is the best for u.u don't need high sv because u r great server.62 pw it's enough.72 pw could make u get tired faster than 62.
I think J is better because it's a real defensive player.concetrated on speed and groundstroke.stamina can be "used"only by these skills, not by pw...and 78 volley could be lethal in your hands

so...at the end...I say Johnson icould be better for u...

Hope I explaned good in english

I've been using thompson the most, he's currently my favourite. Havnt tried Johnson since when stam runs low my serve dies, so 55 serve isnt my thing.

I remember at 1st in MSS we had roughly the same build, so I reckon you'd like tompson as well. Just gotta control all the running to not burn out in 3 games heh , I'm not sure I'd use him in a 5 set match.

I just played soundfsilence with striker and house, i'm a terrible volleyer so striker ,won't be using him outside of friendlies. Think sound beat me 6-3 6-3 or something.

House is a good char though, high stam so the low serve doesnt cause problems. I put 90 on fh and (when sound eventually couldn't hit it to my bh) it was basically a winner each time.

errr if i can keep a good 1st serve % im usually ok. i dont serve that man y aces though but a lot of unreturnables. i hit the odd LT and slice or topspin serves just for the pace difference

I use only analog as well, and I find it very hard to be accurate with a low serve stat and when rushing the net. Holding RB just speeds up the motion so fast and the aiming is very touchy.

You were reading the TS1 rules. The only rules for TS3 sim are regarding the characters, and the 2 rules that apply to all TS3 matches - return from behind the baseline and serve from the default position or closer to the center. There are no rules about which shots you can play.

Either way, the new season doesn't start until January, so you have plenty of time to get used to everything.

And you do know that you can create a character in about 5 minutes, correct? If not, read this > CLICK

Hi Coke

I would say there are 3 players who are similar to your defensive Morrow:

1) Bucci
2) Fussman
3) Thompson

I have picked these because their power is a yellow stat, and I think you like this.

From these 3, I have only tried Thompson. He's pretty good, downside is I can't seem to move well with him (due to his height)... BUT, alex was really good with Thompson, gets everything back!

Had 2 matches with alex yesterday, different matchups:

1st up. Bishop (me) vs Striker

This was a great matchup for me, I managed to win 6-3, 6-3. Well, I used my fav player, whereas alex probably used his least fav :D My returns was hurting his service games, and in my own, I managed to hold on. BUT, alex used Striker very well on the baseline! He had bps, but I managed to save them.

2nd up. Thompson (me) vs House

alex won this 6-1, 6-2. Although a one sided scoreline, I think the players were still balanced. I had bp chances, but couldn't convert 0/8! Whereas alex converted 4/6.

Good matches 8)
