Yours are unreturnable on big points from my memory! So, next time hit easy serves for me to break please :P

If you know where I'm gona serve on big points, take advantage of it, thats how I deal with good servers

"good servers" will not serve to the same spots on big points  ...you described "decent" servers who have problems handling pressure and go for favorite spots on big points, they are even easier to deal with then bad servers.

A good server is measured not by the amount of aces, but by the way they serve on big points, when they are down - to get themselves out of trouble and when they are up to seal the deal giving no hope.

Coke and djarvik are right, i had 0 40 against coke lately (Valencia Final) and i couldn't convert the points to a break point to seal the match . If it was for me i would die from anxiety!! :P

Nothing beats my like 8 or so missed match points against Coke, in his one and only WS tournament.

Don't! If you hate missing the shots on important points, that means you are going for shots. Can't miss if you are not going for them right? ...you doing the right thing and one day it will all click. The worst thing you can do is remain passive on big points. Always play big points as you would play the first point of the match.

Yes it is the elusive question for me. Will I feel worse going for a winner and missing, or being solid but eventually succumbing to the winner from my opponent.

I'm definately going to have to go for more next year if I want to improve my ranking.

blufetish wrote:On world tour mode almost everyone and I mean everyone within the top 40 cheats. I cant play anyone within the top 40 without a cheesy unreturnable/unrealistic serve and or return. Even on ITST I find that a lot of these people in the top 20 cheats. I'm not naming names but I respect almost no one within the top 20 and think the ranking is just a default.

It's unrealistic to serve an entire set of tennis without losing a point on serve, just unrealistic. I rather lose to a player who out thinks me rather than serving unreturnable serves and returns.

I hope the next topspin game they fix these cheats so we can have fair matches where its thinking that wins match rather than who knows how to do the trick.

I have played against likos, coke4 and brgerflipr (top ten) and i have lost because they have played better, they have saved break points and set points with fair play, are very good players, haven´t you tought that they are better, simply?
