Mens Final Wimbledon 2009

Who is going to win this matchup?

Fed has an 18-2 record verse Roddick, but Roddick played very well vs. Murray.

My prediction will be Fed in four.

I really think Fed is going to come out like an express train and win this in straights. He has been playing great, has lots left in the tank and can read the Roddick game very well.

Plus Laver will be there and hopefully Sampras aswell and Federer would love to break the record in front of them. Also lets not forget Federer has only ever lost to Nadal in a Grand Slam final.

I hope Roddick can play a good match though, he is a sound guy and if he did create a massive upset I would be happy for him, although I want Federer to regain the trophy.

Roddick will win all tie-breakers!

He is 25-4 this year and the best tie-breaker winner in ATP's history (according to J'Mac).

The 25-4 tiebreaker stats is for Roddick in 2009. I am not saying that it is his tiebreaker record versus Roger Federer period.

That will be goofy. :P

I think Roddick will just be hoping to survive to the tiebreak as historically Federer has always been able to return the Roddick serve very well. Plus I don't care what anyone says a head to head stat like that must be a mountain to climb for Andy.

Only Superman can beat Federer on grass. Nadal played like Superman last year. I have NEVER seen Roddick play like Superman. Federer in three quickies (though I'll be rooting for Roddick).

My goodness. I did not know Roddick won through another tiebreaker. Now, he is 26-4 this year.
