I was watching Wimbleedon on ESPN this morning and one of their tennis experts thinks that Federer has a chance to get close to 22 slam titles.

That's pretty crazy and the chance of that happening very slim

why not?, anything can happen, I mean it all depends if you have to face great players or not. If Nadal doesn´t come back, to be honest, nowadays there´s nobody else that can beat Federer at the US OPen or Wimbledon or Autralia.
We have very good players like Murray,Djokovik,A.Ro,Del Po,Tsonga, but they are just that, good players, being a champion is something different and really difficult.
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

I know it´s off topic, but it´s possible that Rafa has to have surgery in his knees. He would be back in 2 or 4 months ( only if he has that surgery).( Not confirmed)

And about Federer, if he plays 3 or 4 more years, he might get that number of titles, but as i said before it all depends of what opponents he´s gonna face during these years.

If he plays at top level up to 31-32 and Nadal goes fishing, Fed could easily win 25 GS titles!

Fed's got a real shot at 3 GS titles again this year - that makes 8 more seem pretty reasonable.

Ahhhhh . . . . Yes . . . . truely a well carved piece of art.

The Italian opera to accompany his play was quite fitting. Thanks sooooo much.
