i think a good change for a better top spin experience would be to alter the risk returns---kinda like TS2 to where you could build up momentum for the special shot....it could be like that but, make it to where it would not be a guaranteed winner you still have to time it correctly and if you miss you lose all your mojo and same if you hit a winner----that would make it more realistic IMO...

i cant understand why not every year come a new topspin. like fifa ,nba ,nfl etc.
that will bring the ts series mostly forward in sim gameplay balance.

Why change a working formula

TS3 is better than TS1 which was better than TS2 and all other tennis games outthere.

The only improvements I would add to TS4 over TS3 is:

a) improved transitory animations (not a biggie but a beauty if they can do it)

b) for the love of god, put in pete sampras. The man deserves a place in every tennis game

c) allow full customisation of a player. I don't like the fact that I can't parade my 400lb blimp, Acehole, naked all over court. Would be cool.

d) improve lag issues (not a biggie but can be improved none the less)

6'9 400lb should not be able to be that quick and should die, literally , just die, show the animation of him dying on the court....and never allow to be used again after 3 sets.

You should need to make a new 6'9 400lb guy after each match, after his heart give out.

court surfaces need to be more different. with 90 power Etc. it doesnt matter whether you on clay or grass, you can hit winners galore. Bad bounces on grass would be nice too

4 Console doubles and match viewing is a must. It shouldn't even have to mentioned to the dudes at PAM.

Yeah, it's a joke that 4 console doubles wasn't included; a big step backwards. Not everybody wants to become the most super-elite XBox Live ranking machine ever...some people just want to get a little drunk and play some doubles.

the main problem is the lag. you see lag by 2 konsolen ? its not easy to handle this problem. nobody will play lag matches

I agree with what you are saying... Pete and Andre deserve to be in there somewhere. (Even Stefan Edberg as well)

But one thing you are forgetting..... CHALLENGES!!!! If a simple game like the other Tennis games on the market can have Challenges... i don't see why the "REAL" Tennis franchise doesn't have it?

They had more than enough time to implement it into TS3... so hopefully it will be incorporated into TS4.
