This thread is a month old, but I figured I'd give my input anyways.
I've owned both systems -- both my 360 and PS3 died, and I decided to buy a new PS3 and not a new 360, so obviously I like the PS3 more.
One, I HATE the 360 controller. Most people seem like it, but I find it uncomfortable to use and really dislike the shoulder buttons. It's better than the original Xbox controller, which was the worst controller since N64, but I'm still not a fan.
Two, I'm more interested in the PS3 exclusives -- don't really play FPS games much, and would rather have Uncharted/The Show than anything that's exclusive to 360.
The other main thing was that PSN is free.....Xbox Live definitely has more features, but I never cared about any of them, and for me Live was never any better in terms of actually connecting to play games than PSN. I don't do voice chat because I don't want to hear random people yelling stupid shit all the time, and I really don't play that many games online. Top Spin, NCAA Football online dynasties, FIFA.....that's about it; I mostly play games single player off-line so it's not worth paying money for Live to me. But for someone who's going to play online all the time, and wants all those extra features, Live is probably better.
The Blu-Ray player is nice but I have one on my PC too, and I hardly ever use it anyways, so that didn't really matter to me.
