Which frenchie will have the best results this year at RG ?

Everything is said in the title.

I'm voting Tsonga and Monfils. Tsonga because he can play solid enough and has to get rid of Cilic to reach at least the quarters, and maybe a chance to annoy Fed.
And Monfils because he's the best frenchie on clay, only question is how long can he play at that level without being in trouble physically. If he can get passed Almagro, he is able to nail Ferrer and reach SF.

Monfils is wildly insecure; craves attention - and he gets it at Roland Garros. Only reason he plays so well - a nice ego-stroking. Therefore, no contest, Monfils will fare better than the rest. 8)

Voted Monfils and Paire. Monfils because he always does well at RG, and Paire because I like him and he has quite a good clay game.

I like Paire, this guy play really well.

In my opinion none of them have the talent to win the tournament though, maybe in the future

Well it's certainly not a question of talent because some of them definitely have lots of it (Gasquet, Paire, Monfils), it's much more about gameplan and mental strength to me.

I agree with you, "talent" was not the right word here, actually Gasquet has more talent than Nadal, but yeah like you said his mental strengh and gameplan is outstanding, Rafa would kill Chuck Norris only with his mind

Voted for Tsonga. He's the one who has more experience from all those frenchies, and has everything with him this year ; good form, he plays well, and has a good draw. I'm pretty sure he'll get to the QF, and I'm betting he'll beat Federer.
Considering the potential SF, it would probably be against Ferrer ; I think Ferrer will win.

Anyway, even if Monfils lost today after he had 4 match points, I'm really impressed. Everybody said that Berdych was gonna kill him, including me. Then everybody said Gulbis was. But he won those two matches anyway ; very impressive...and pleasant !

Tsonga hasn't played well yet since WTF 2011 (except vs Djoko at RG 2012 and vs Fed at AO 2013 where i really thought both bh and returns improved), he can't concentrate for a long period and still has no gameplan which is always gonna make the difference vs the current top 5 on most surfaces (except grass).

I'm not sure at all that Ferrer will reach SF if he meets Almagro first, they had a very tight match this year at the AO where Almagro seemed superior.

Well Tsonga made a good Monte-Carlo ! But I can't remember what he did in Madrid, and I won't talk about Rome.
However, he was really close to the victory against Djokovic last year (EDIT : My mistake, you said that already). Now as you said, he has a real concentration issue, but I wish the fact he plays in his country will help...and trust me, I'm one of those who reproach Tsonga for a looot of things.

Finally, about Ferrer and Almagro, well... I'm not sure Almagro even beat Ferrer on clay ! And Ferrer is definitely in a better form, just need to watch his matches against Nadal in Madrid and Rome. Plus, it's a 5 sets game : Almagro simply can't win 3 sets in a match against Ferrer, I think.

Tsonga was thrilled himself after reaching SF in MC, but he just beat Waw in the QF so that's definitely nothing extraordinary (he beat Waw in RG 2012 R16, nothing new), especially since he lost again to him pretty poorly the week after in Rome.

It's always funny to see him not being annoyed when he loses, always a big smile at the end when reaching the net to shake hands, and each time a different explanation in the conference room : he's a heavy weight, he hates to play early, it's not a problem not to play great since there are other players (such as Rafa this year at RG) who win without playing a great tennis...
