We have been serving the tennis gaming community since the release of the original Top Spin game in 2003. The ITST is unique in that it follows, exactly, the ATP and WTA tours; hosting tournaments that parallel the real life tournaments contested by tennis professionals. The ITST ranking system also mirrors the ranking system of the ATP and WTA. In short, we do our very best to blur the line between gaming fantasy and tennis reality.
It costs nothing to join the ITST. Membership is free.

Yes, yes—I know. You're probably wondering why it's mid-April, and only now am I recapping events from February. Before you grab your pitchforks and storm the Discord channel, hear me out. Your favorite (or at least, tolerable) ITST reporter had a busy few months: I sold my house in the Chicago suburbs, packed all my things into boxes I eventually unpacked, and relocated back to the hustle and bustle of downtown Chicago. Oh, and I started a new job, because apparently, writing free esports tennis recaps doesn’t cover downtown Chicago rent. Who knew?

While I was drowning in packing tape and orientation packets, ITST’s Singles Tour exploded with drama, historic first titles, fierce sibling rivalries, and ongoing community uproar about whether returns had officially become unreturnable.

Chaos and Controversy Dominate Open Sud de France

If you tuned into the Open Sud de France expecting a calm, straightforward tournament, you were sorely mistaken. This event had everything—dominant champions, absurd scheduling decisions, rule disputes, and one competitor continuing to hit godlike returns despite a supposed shift in gameplay.
