I need to make something clear...when I say something like "soccer isn't popular here in the US", I strictly mean that nobody WATCHES high-level soccer on TV. EVERY kid in America plays soccer growing up (ok, not every, but a LOT), everybody here is familiar with the game itself, it's just not watched on TV.
To answer your question bergkamp, no women's soccer isn't really that popular. I'd guess that slightly more girls/women play soccer, but not much.
Best leagues are in Europe, money talks.(
Spain,England,Italy,Germany...)
Ill rephrase that... England, Spain, Italy, Germany..... since we all know the best and most competitive league is the english one.
Ok, that´s your opinion
It's not just his opinion
The spanish league has better 'footballing' teams, it is much better to watch as it is mostly all out attack, but none of the teams have a rock solid defense, except Barca(i cant find that c thingy
) and maybe Real, thats why there is like, 20 goals every match
But competitively English football is better, not so good to watch but much more tactical and interesting. We also have the most annoying managers and players in our league
