you murray haters are so bizarre! :D . he's a great player and has the most complete game second only to Fed! Defense is a natural tennis necessity. Nadal also defends well. Yes he attacks more too, but how can you say murray doesnt attack!. He attacks a lot, just in subtle ways. A clever drop shot can be an attack! so can a vicious slice. You lot are so one dimensional in your assessment of tennis , i wonder if you are fans of the actual sport at all. Ive seen Murray attack a lot, and when he needs it he can do it.

I must say i think its so refreshing to see Murray's style finally countering the one-dimensional power hitters who may be flashy but that is it. In the same argument how come Hingis is so widely regarded as a gifted player when she, like Murray used an all court game to dismantle power players?

Some people just hate Murray for the sake of it, or they hate his attitude etc. This is more fair as its an opinion but you cannot say he is not a great player or a gifted shot maker so get a grip and grow up! :D

As it is with every professional sport, tennis is about winning and losing. PERIOD! Doesn't matter how, as long as he/they are not breaking the rules. Murray is winning without breaking any rules**, so you gotta give the guy the credit he deserves. End of story.

** Assuming he's not playing with a corked racquet, or gobbling steroids.

This is a bizarre comment...... Fed is not a complete player... its becomming more and more obvious that if u hit 3 or more shots to Feds backhand, that it wont come back..... therefore i dont call him a complete player

Murray is second to Nadal....... but Murray mixes his shots and pace better than any other player on the tour!

Samael wrote:Ok, Master. I'm sorry my point is beyond your understanding. The Mutant survives only by defending and, when IT has to attack, IT doesn't know how to do that... IT doesn't have the necessary arsenal. Tell me one match in which IT was offensive and didnt wait for his opponent's error ( beside the US OPEN SF against Nadal, which i didn't see). And please spare me with something like: " HE ( IT) doesn't have to attack in order to win." One single match. And with arguments. EH? PS: I don't know any other player in the ATP tour to play so defensive and ugly for the eye. What is IT'S best shot? How does IT win matches? Would any of you ( beside the British) like IT to be no 1? If that happens, tennis will be as watched as curling or... or... field hockey! Italian CATENACCIO= THE MUTANT'S STYLE OF PLAY. This is my point of view and i am sure some of you share it. For the others, just give me a break! Take IT and stick IT in your posterior!

i rember one player guillermo coria, who based everything on his defense.

I dont understand what u mean, everything that u quoted me on is true.... In doha/Indian wells Murray hit about 90% of his shots to feds backhand and got a huge amount of unforced errors. And no i am not saying this to get reactions from people, i unlike many speak FACTS. Murray is the second best player in the world right now, The stats speak for themselves : http://www.atpworldtour.com/tennis/en/p ... atchfacts/

I truly don't understand Federer haters , yes Fed is not at his best right now , but he dominated for 4 years and got the largest amount of grand slams second only to Sampras , he holds the record to the longest time in number 1 ,etc ...

And while he did all that he was playing flashy , fun to watch tennis , murray is great and so is Nadal , but I won't put Nadal or Murray on the same level until each one of them have achieved at least 80% of what Fed did .

Im not a fed hater, I love watching fed.... BUT i hate all this.... BUT fed won this, fed was number 1 for such and such weeks, the top players next to fed are ALOT better than they were when he was number 1 and won all the tourneys...... People started to beat fed.. (because they were getting better), And were now seeing that he cant mentally cope with being beat. And NO ONE give Nadal enough credit, its all feds on decline thats the only reason thats hes number 1.... BS..... he is possibly the best player of ALL time....(dont hate at this comment) he has shown that hes a much better player than federer on clay (beaten him multiple times on clay when fed was "invincible")..... Hes beaten him on grass, and now hard court..... and hes only 22 years of age....

i know he has consistency problems, unlike murray who seems to be very consistent at the moment..
what i am saying is that if djokovic had played like that he would have won

I saw the whole match , Djokovic had the chance to close the second set and gaved it away , he looked tired from the get go , I think he has problems dealing with heat , what a shame , even draging his feet he beated an unconsistent Roger, hope these two can get their stuff together since I would hate to see tennis dominated by Rafa and murray from now on.
