Murray played a clever match....... why dont u go on the court and hit the ball to feds forehand..... see how many u get back

Murray is a more complete player than federer FOR SURE. END OF TOPIC

I think it became evident watching the matches today that the wind probably had a factor in how Murray was playing Federer, and we shouldn't let this be a decider in how we like/dislike the way he plays.

Ditto. Also, I do not like his attitude really. Yet, if I had to pick Djokovic or Murray, I would pick Murray. :P

I think that both nadal and murray are super-boring...if similar players continue to dominate, the popularity of tennis is going to decrease soon...
I haven't seen matches as boring as these since hewitt was no. 1

People said this when Federer dominated the tour. Now, when he is not, others are still complaining. LOL.

I think that the ATP tour is now anybody's turf now. That makes it more interesting.

It's all relative. I believe the game has evolved, not 'gotten boring'. We could be watching 70's style serve and volleyers hit 75 mph slice serves and play 3-shot points, over and over and over. Not too exciting to me. There's always been people like you in tennis who feel the game's best days are behind him and that the game is devolving into some slug-fest. People have been saying this for a looooonng time. Players now are more fit, more consistent, more powerful, and every bit as talented. There's this magic button ('Power', usually on the front or top of your TV) on your TV that lets you block out all the boring tennis nowadays. It's pretty sweet.

I certainly don't think Nadal is going to cause the popularity of tennis to decrease. Half the kids I see today use his racquet and dress like him - I like Federer or Sampras much better, but I don't see many kids trying to be them.

No offense to Sampras cuz he's probably my favorite player next to Federer, but I don't think anybody's trying to cop the 'Sweaty Hairy Guy' look  . You gotta be born with Sampras' style

ok, maybe...but I loved to watch federer play, I could really enjoy his tennis...although he was never my favourite player...
I think that ATP needs more players like safin..just to spice up things a bit
