I was about to post this one soon. There's not a better place than this post. Here I post the final of ABN AMRO Championships (Rotterdam - World Tour 500) SIM 2009 Final, Top Spin 1, last week, between me and my friend G-Spin. The match is divided into two parts, you can check the 2nd part on the related videos. If you want a better quality I have the match uploaded on Rapidshare just ask me. I hope you enjoy it!

Before I practice and update some characters for TS I PC, I want to share this exhibition match that I had with a very good German friend who respected me very much. I will never forget the man he is and perhaps he is one of the reasons why I am still here contributing to ITST.

The exhibtion match is posted below:

Top Spin I, Exhibition Matches (Cut), Phil Nelly (Phil Hess) v. Q. Reese:

Fraps is for the PC. To record matches on Live, there are a few options. I use a DVD recorder, I know Snowflake used a capture card, and I've also heard of people using a DVR.

Nice videos, thanks guys.

A small request, it would be nice to see the other player from the bottom view as well... if you guys are record another friendly exhibition match, do you mind both playing with camera follow off? :)

But then we cannot play our best! LOL

I am looking into a recording device now, so once I purchase it, we will be able to record the same match from both places and edit and present it here.

Rob, you really should step in a little bit when you return.
And you almost won the 2nd set tiebreaker.
I want to play you some time.

I had trouble when I'd step up on the returns - which I tried early in the match.

We had a bit of lag and my player wasn't moving fluidly - notice the way my player kind of stopped moving on the aces. I could return them if I kept pressing towards the ball, but I would start aiming to the other side sometimes right as it paused so my guy would stop. My fault really, just something I have trouble adjusting to.

If you notice, Setheleh was further back returning than I was - something I never tried that might have helped at times.

But the real difference was the trouble I'm still having with certain shots - things I just haven't had as much practice with because I used to only play half my games from the baseline. That, and the fact that he just simply served so well the whole match.

But yeah, we do need to play.

RobITST, do you have a tutorial to how to record live matches ?
I'm searching for it, I only know FRAPS witch is only for PC, and I'm with the PS3, and I want to know how do you do it (with a tutorial if possible).

I use a DVD recorder. Basically, it's like a VCR but it uses DVD's. Using the original cables that come with the 360, I have the component video (red/blue/green) and optical audio hooked up to my TV/Stereo. Then I use the RCA (yellow/red/white) that are on the same cable to run to my DVD recorder.

Another option (and probably easier and cheaper) is to use a capture card. I think you can get those for $30-50 from any electronics store, Amazon, etc. You'd hook it up the same way I hooked up the DVD recorder.

If your TV doesn't have the component video or fiber optic audio, you can just use a splitter to connect the RCA plugs to both the TV and the DVD/capture card.
