It definitely would be great. The problem is that ts3 doesn't support 4-console doubles...

It has nothing to do with not being "bothered hosting it". We stopped because of draws like the last doubles tournament we hosted > CLICK

Three matches played in that tournament.

There's simply not enough interest, and it's too difficult to play the matches for those who are interested.

I beg to differ. The TS I doubles tour went strong for almost two years. :)

Oh what was that??? oh yeahh its you rob!!, sorry never read ure reply there, i tend to avoid it if i can nowadays, as it seems the whole host system talks ****!!! ;)

Ive been hearing stuff on xbox live about how lame the management is getting on here, it makes me laugh so hard!!!

But what can u do, when the management PREFERS a member to another member???

Anyway ill not go into detail......... im sure u hosts know what im talking about :)
And, i love how ITST is harrassing members now, i think its a great way to promote the site....

OK......

Anyway,

If there seems to be enough interest, I'm sure we can host doubles again. But if it's just 8 teams and half the matches are walkovers, there's not much point in that.

Rob . . .

May I propose something (and Rob says, "Yes."). :P

I think there should be an extension of the deadline perhaps a full week for each round.

Also, we can slow down on the tournaments a bit for doubles, because one event can last up to a month.

This will at least ensure that the matches will be played and crack down on the WOs.

What do you think?

We've given a full week to get matches played - it didn't help much.

4 people, 2 different time zones - it's just very tough to find a time that everyone can agree on.

But the main reason we stopped doubles on TS3 was the lack of interest - the last tournament couldn't even fill an 8 team draw.

But again, if there's enough interest, then we can start looking into it.

You hear that guys. So, recruit recruit and one more thing . . . RECRUIT.

It is the only way Abuigi and Al Jam allowed me to find the doubles tour and get members to play for ITST's TS I PC tour.

I do not have TS III, but I know that you have to spread the word. :P

I know what you mean Iain! You're def not afraid to stand up for yourself!! I would play doubles again. If everyone could just try and train one friend to play doubles just think how many teams we could get? They don't need xbox live subscriptions I dont think I think you can make them play as a guest?
