Hehe I think it's because Corias was mentally a pussy mate!

Well this post comes in a good time because I'm precisely now changing my two handed backhand to one handed. Why? I still think two handed is better, you can hit high balls more easily you can arrive late to some balls and still hit the passing shots and you it's easier to control the ball when it comes very heavy and with a lot of weight. However then you go to the other part, personally I started hitting some time ago the one handed for fun and my coach noticed that naturally I, without ever practicing with one handed backhand had a quite good one. On the other handed my two handed backhand at the moment is quite good but still I never could give much spin I fail a lot when I want to add more speed. So the conclusion is, I'm changing to one handed because "following the evidences" (like a CSI would do hehe) it seems that at a long term I'll probably end by having a better one handed backhand than a two handed because it's more natural for me. So that's it mate, you have to see too which one you feel it's YOUR backhand (I can even give you more one example, my coach has a kid with 8 years old since his 6 and like all the other kids he started to hit two handed but suddenly my coach started to see that his one handed was quite good and altough the kid is really small for 8 years comparing with the other kinds of his age he plays really well, has a lot of talent and a very good one handed backhand now).
