I came out firing and played a great first set, winning my set point with a nice half volley to claim the set 6-4. Unfortunately, I needed to take a toilet break halfway through the 2nd set and the momentum started to shift after that. I did have break points at 4-4 that would have put me in a position to serve for the match but I didn't convert and before I knew it, I had been broken myself and faded away badly in the final set losing 6-4 4-6 3-6. I think Setheleh is a very interesting player who really thinks tactically and adapts his game accordingly to his opponent. He was happy to let me dominate for a while but once I started to tire he was straight in there for the kill lol.

this point is the greatest if ever played!! i should have won the point two or three times, then i smashed a backhand-cross -court -top-spin across the net and the next thing i know is, that mack contered with a volley stop! it was UNVELIEVABLE!!! we both kept our hands from the controller to watch this great point in the replay again. it was just sooo beautiful to watch!!!
the match was great, with a loooot of rallies. i like players like mack a lot, as he said, there is a lot of tactic implemented, not just overpowering your opponent. great match, it was so much fun :D

Yeah I appreciated that. Normally I press A straight away when a set is over but had to watch that point again in replay..just wish we could save points :(

Played Norberto earlier and won 7-6 5-7 7-6 but it was a nightmare match for me to play lol as Noberto was the one completely dictating play whether he was hitting return winners or outhitting me in a rally. I haven't played any one before in itst who can play such a consistant all out attacking game from start to finish. I felt I was just pushing the ball in comparison and my best serves were getting returned with interest. I'm not sure how I won exactly :?

OK, I played 5 matches (4 opponents) since I came back.

Got raped by swifty 2-6 1-6 in my 1st match. Did not even hold serve once in the 2nd set. LOL! He seems to improve a lot, there are some strategies involved, and definitely have added variety to his game.

4 hours later, beat a drunken Djarvik (6-3 6-4). Even though he was not 100%, I feel much better and more confident about my game.

Yesterday played with setheleh (7-6 6-2). I have to say it was the best hitting ever from both of us in the same match. There were tons of fun and intense rallies. If I could record it, I would show you that we can win with groundstrokes alone.

Just played two matches with Norberto (6-3 7-5 and 5-7 7-5 6-0). I don't think he was too happy after the 2nd match. Anyway, best defensive I have ever played. I felt like a double-handed Federer. I was almost out in so many points, yet I chipped and chopped, drew some errors from him or turned defensive into offensive. He left immediately after the 3rd set. LOL

you are my HERO pica :D thats exactly why i m glad that you are back mate!!! you point out our limits and at the same time you show us, what someone like you is possible to do on court!! great stuff!!
our match was great! to bad i lost the first set after leading with a break and hitting a double fault on setpoint. but you deserved to win in two and i didnt bother! lately, i seem to have the greatest matches, like the one with you or today against tantsupalavik. man, we had the longest rallies, and i even was able to take the first set. but then he stepped his game up and i lost 3-6 2-6. but even though i seem to lose quit every single match a play since the last few weeks, i dont care somehow. cuz the matches are really really great, with intense rallies. its not only serve and return anymore, its all about the baseline. mabey thats the reason, i m struggeling at the moment. cuz all of you guys are just way better from back of the court than i am!!
all there is to say; keep going pica, i so much admire your style!!! its just the greatest stuff i ve seen, and its big fun to lose against you!!! i dont feel bad after a hard loss against you, cuz i know that i was beaten by a much better one! same thing today against tantsu, he was just everywhere on the court! no matter where i smashed the ball, tantsu was allready there..called him a cheater after the match, cuz he really deserved it  just kidding, you did great tantsu and i m eager to see, how your gonna do on the tour with this character, if your useing him!

No, I was not unhappy at all after the match - the only problem was, that I had some dispute during the last set with my girlfriend, that's the reason why I left that fast (and hopefully the reason, why I lost the last set like this)!
However, great matches with very good rallies, I did too many unforced errors today (or maybe they were forced by your long super-placed topspins...)
Well done Picachu, hope to see you soon again on court (not in an ITST match tough)

Ah ah yeah i do know what this is..... If you remember it's the exact same thing that happened to me in our aussie match.
I definately ask her to leave now when the match is important (but she barely accepts :P :? :P )

I need to start playing a few more exhibitions again. My last one was against Rob the other night. I won 6-7 6-3 7-6 but it wasn't a very enjoyable experience coz I felt so helpless on return lol. Even risk returns don't seem to be much of a problem for Rob as he dismisses them with a sweet volley winner. I did notice though towards end of 3rd set that Rob was losing the "pop" on his volleys and I was able to get to quite a few of them.

Don't take a match with Rob as an exemple. This guy is THE serve exception ! I also thought i was a good returner...untill i played Rob (...and Norberto )
It seems to me that it could be compared to a penalty kick in footbal. You must choose a side before he tosses the ball. Or returned with LT but that's an easy volley.

Anyways, All this to say that Rob isn't a good exemple

I'll put my life savings on Joesixtoe. His Agassi breaks my Sampras more than anyone else, by far.

 ....thank you Rob! You took the bait  Now I know who should I talk to about returning your serve  ohhhaahhhh

I managed 3 breaks (if I am not mistaken) Last time we played. Although some of the returns were not "intentionally" good, if you know what I mean.

BTW - there is a case of beer (or a nice bottle of wine) for anyone who can give Rob a "Bagel"!
