I'll just be honest. Unless something changes, I won't be staying in this league passed late August because I have really no interest in wasting my time playing guys who load up on 3-4 skills. I played 3 games tonight for fun and every single guy was loaded up on one skill and it honestly is passed furstrating to play because no matter what you do, their power and shots are always better and they will cursh you all the time. I sat and ran the guy around the court all day and he still powerd back. If I honestly see any of my opponents with ratings like that, I will instantly forfeit because I really do have better things I could do with my time.

so, there is the possibility to make a sim tour or is also possible to apply some new rules like that at the "standard tour" ?

so true. the only way to keep up with this kind of players is to play the same. this will kill the game in no time.

Well maybe but i think there are many players who don't care to simulate in what so ever way which I understand :? kind of :-)

i guess that there's just one, but a huge one, and i talk for the ps3 side: there won't be enough people in both tours.

I voted no, I just can't believe that there's no way to beat a player with 100 on FH/BH/Service and Power.

He can't have a great return, so if you serve well you'll get your service games.

He can't be quick, so if you manage to return well you can spread the balls, he can never reach all of those, especially with the bad stamina too.

But well, I haven't played any of those players yet. And yes, I might lose heavily first few times, but I guess I'll find some way to use their weak points in my advantage. But again, I might be mistaken.

But when you limit the stats, then the power players will still get 90 on FH/BH/Service/Power, actually, everyone might do that. I don't think you'll get rid of the problem like that, if there actually is one.

Anyway, I'll first start playing online a bit more, but that was my view for this moment, it might change by experience.

@tombs: most of them will have at least 90 on speed and high return, then 30 on serve, stamina and volley. they'll hit shots comparable to risks all the time and if one angle of you is not perfect you'll be overpowered. bad stamina does not matter at all in ranked matches with only 3 games per set.

it's very annoying to play against them. to me it feels so cheap, i can't even be bothered to try to win against them. players like that just destroy the game and most of them even react ignorantly when i ask them why they play so retarded.

I have to agree with this..i played many of them and i have one player who has the same kind of stats and yes most of the time they have too many weak points to beat someone but.......
well read the above. Only thing I don't blame people using that setup or so cause putting lots on fh bh power does help you in this game .
Right now i just feel people are , if so, over powerered not outplayed.

You´re talking about realism, but Karlovic would have 100 on serve and 30 on speed, for me of course,
What is unrealistic is that everybody has to have a minimum of 50xp on everything.
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

I agree. I played with 100 on power and 80 on both groundstrokes and it still felt like I was lacking power on my shots. Thàt sucks.

Problem is that with a 100 serve you don't get as far as much advantage as Karlovic gets with his serve in real tennis.

Perhaps because, despite all our whining, it's still the best tennis game in the house.
