It looks like Nadal in 4 sets as predicted by your's truly. Too many unforced errors by Fed and Nadal is his usual relentless self.

Federer looked absolutely clueless in the 3rd and 4th sets...

Let's face it, theres no beating this guy when he's on top of his game.

Federer once again proves he is not ready to win this slam, commits way too many errors and once again wastes the opportunity.

(I'm such a tennis noob, however, so don't bet on my opinion :D )

Muahahha  .

Well, did you watch Rafa before his interview? He ran to his bag to get a watch and finally he did wear it during the interview. Ridicolous

Nadal played well, but Federer is just too stubborn sometimes. He refused to use the slice backhand, just kept trying to come over balls above his head. I think he was lucky it wasn't worse.

Yep, Federer just has too much pride to surrender a slice to Nadal, he kept trying to outslug Nadal and that's obviously not gonna work. I was really, REALLY hoping Federer would win, but Nadal is just too much. I could feel Federer running out of options

It is not that easy to slice well on Nadals shots, and Nadal is pretty good at moving forward and killing off anything in midcourt. He hits darn well on low balls too.
Federer played well and probably had as good a game plan as he can have, he just needs to play better and miss less.
Always more difficult shot selection for the guy who wants the points to end on clay.
To me he needed to serve better in the first set and return better overall, but Nadal always gets a high percentage of first serves in so credit to him for that.

Based on their head-to-head matches, on clay, Federer's only hope of winning is if Nadal is having a bad day (e.g. Hamburg final). In France, Nadal had a good day - again. :)

Nadal's left arm is going to fly off any day now.

Hamburg was not only bad day for Nadal but also bad clay. Not as high bouncing as the other clay events.

Federer was too nervous to make any break point, especially in the first set. If he would have taken his chances like his match against davidenko, it could have ended differently... but still i think he wouldn't have won it anyways. Nadal only gets better during the match, as if he doesn't know about getting tired....

also, mecir is right, federer had a hard time returning those high bouncing top spin balls.
be creative and try to outvolley me

Yes, he had many break point opportunities. It goes to show how hard Nadal really is on clay. Remember, last year's Wimbledon final was close too with Rafael Nadal. So, this would be interesting (obviously, Federer is the clear favorite on grass).
