What would have happened with Italy when they would had to play the penalty shoot-out?
Everybody can win then?!

As far as I know we won in the firsts 90 mins. If the guy wouldn't have commited a foul Grosso'd have been in front of the keeper. Why risking to lose everything by simulating when he has so many chances to score?
And do not forget there was the extra-time after. I'm sure we'd have won before the penalty shoot-out.

Because he is Italian.

Sure, yesterday we all saw that we can beat 12 guys(11+ the referee).
Simulation from Malouda after 6 mins, great. Toni scores, cancelled. Great.
But finally, who cares? We got it, the rest doesn't matter.

why does the fans and the national team always sing the melody of of a song of the white stripes (seven nation army) ??? has this any meaning???

Hmm no idea, but a lot of different clubs fans sing it during matches, so I guess there's no meaning.

It cames from a "derby" between the two teams of Rome: Lazio-As Roma. The chorus wasnt't only PO POPOPO PO PO PO, but was made also of word offensive against Lazio supporters. In world cup became Italy chorus but without words

About past discussion i think Grosso penalty wasn't so clear, but it wasn't invented. He surely searched the contact and the penalty but it wasn't a total present

Against Germany we clearly deserved to win

Italy not offensive in this world cup? Perhaps not from the beginning but see all the substitution: Iaquinta Del Piero Gilardino, once Inzaghi, always forward, sometimes 4 in the same times

bergkamptheone wrote:Another reason for my bet is..i hate italy. The way of play is horrible and the players are so drama queens and little crying pussys so they have to been kicked out of the WC.

P.S.: They also won against GERMANY  :D

Sorry, but i can't accept critics on fairplay from a german. Do you remember our match? I remember well. Do you remember YOUR players didn't give back the ball to Italy after 2 injury in some minutes??? And in one of them was near to do a goal? This is great fair play, thanks for your lesson.

injuries??? or do u mean little falling to the grounds...holding their face like they would have get a big punch into it although they just got touched a bit???....today's soccer there are almost no injuries. most players make big show to interrupt a match and so on..not just italy all teams...

I don't remeber who was injuried, perhaps was a german player. And overall you didn't answered to my provocation and you attacked with no sense, because it's obvius that Germans didn't act with fairplay

i know one situation. Youre player laid on the grass and cried. The referee came and dont let the medicals on the pitch. That says everything I think. And also i can remember 7 situations where the germans hit the ball back. So maybe in this 2 situations the referee said play on. Cause if he was injured the referee would have blown the whistle so that the medicals can check him.....

I mean i read a statistic in which you are in 2nd place in diving. And 1st in discuss to the ref to give the opponent a card. That sucks. Even though portugal is lots harder!! Cause they try it in every situation.

But btw. You deserved to win! Youre the champion. Gratualtions. Doesnt matter what happened. There was noone to interrupt this things and so you deserve to win.

And we won in Rome 16 years ago! So we won in your country. You won in our country. 2010 we will win ;-)
