Tevez is in the secondary line-up, but that is because Argentina has got too many forwards (Crespo, Tevez, Saviola, Cruz, Messi, and Palacio) that is hard to choose only 2 or 3 of them, so Pekerman makes some combinations. I hope he chooses the right ones. :)

and whjo thought south corea would get to semis, i think argentina will win with the help of tevez and messi and all his great players.

How could they South Korea go to the semis? Well they were organizers, and were so much favorized vs Italy and even more vs Spain(goals cancelled for their opponents, red card nonsense for Totti,...).

I think thats your Italian heart speaking. If they were so bad Italy shouldnt have lost the match in the end of the match but should have won the game earlier. Saying that they were favorized is not right to say i think. They have had luck, that i would agree to. But they also had a real team. They played and trained for an entire year while the competition was shut down. Its a problem for most big nations. They are a team for a few days a couple times a year. This was their strenght and not that they were home nations. If so, Japan would have been in the semis at least also.

I think Brazil will win it. What can you do against players like Ronaldo, Ronaldhino, Kaka... etc... etc...
Ferrero is not finished...

Well saying we were defavorized is true, then the referee had some problems I think anyway, we deserved to win this. Then I think we would have lost Spain, though. I also want to say they were more defavorized than us(two goals cancelled  ). So according to me South Korea shouldn't have had done better than a 1/8 or a 1/4.
I think our team wasn't at the top 4 years ago, but what we did was sufficient to win. If we would have scored a second goal it would have been cancelled as well as for Spain.
I acknowledge I do not much remember what happened in our match, though. The only thing I remember is that the referees were for the local team, and favorized them too much.

I think England will do it this time. Their team looks very strong, especially the midfield. They have had some bad luck in recent tournaments so I think this is their time. Obviously Brazil has a very very strong team too but I'll go with England this time.
Or why not trinidad, better chance than Sweden it seems. Damnit!

Well I do know that Netherlands will have a tough job going to next phase of the draw. Argentina has beaten the amazing Ivory Coast team. The latter is full of very skilled players and the team plays very offensively. Argentina won extremely important 3 points today. Nostros hermanos are going to go very far it seems ;)

Have you seen England - Paraguay? I think England will have to step up quite some levels to beat the likes of Brazil and Italy. Still, if you look purely at the players they have they should go far. England did not reach a good level vs Paraguay though.

hey you forgot something  ,
germany is a big team during a tournament.
for example the confed cup.
germany started with a 4:3 win against australia. many experts said the same, what you are saying now. germans defense is too bad. what was the result???? germany give brasil a fantastic fight in the semi final. and later they reached the third place against mexiko. if they will get 2 or 3 goals, they will shot 3 or 4.
so be careful, don't depreciate germany. you will see :D
brasil's time is over.

We'll see ;)

I'd love to see Germany against Italy or Czech Republic...I won't even mention Argentina or Netherlands cause it'd be unfair, those look pretty awesome.

And I still don't understand all this fuss about England. They don't play well for over a year or something. And I don't think they can beat the teams I mentioned above.

agreed licoaldo....
if u hear the english they ARE already champion. so why play further?
i am getting mad if i hear things like that. they say every time that they have their best team ever... tztztz....
although i really hope that germany will make it i guess its only a dream. i suggest that the semis will be between brazil-germany(i hope so)-the winner of group C(that means ivory coast or argentina ;)-and czech republic...
but we will see

Not a lot of papers will write that their home team sucks if they have won. So the english tabloids headlines are not really surprising to me. If you even look to countries as Iran and USA. The papers there even expect a world cup cause they cant see in perspective. Or dont want to see in perspective. What do people love to read more? A positive article or a negative one.

Btw: You are right about Germany being cup fighters. They always seem to do well in tournaments. In this tournament they will come far as well. Simply because they have an easy group, Paraguay/Sweden/Soca warriors is their next opponent, a quarterfinal Germany - Holland is forbidden so they will probably face the crappiest team in the quarterfinals. So, a semifinal is in reach for Germany. And thats really bollocks with the team they have....

crappiest team in the quarterfinals?? Most probably Germany and Argentina (second Ivory Coast) will finish first in their groups and if they both win R16 they play each other! Also Sweden (or England) in R16 is everything else but easy...
