Just sayin... 8)

Amazing night for italian tennis.
The score was the least important thing, there were 2 long-time friends (not only from the same country, but from the same region, Puglia) on the court.
First set was good, and I think the best player won: Flavia is in great shape right now, and by the way Roberta played well, but she was still too overwhelmed by his victory in the semifinal.

Flavia deserved to win, the final and the trophy. Robertina (as we italians use to name Vinci) was very happy anyway (I would say even happier than her rival) and enjoied the ceremony.

Everyone was surprised when Pennetta announced her retirement at the end of the year, but she's 33 yo and she was thinking about that since a while.
And by the way, she's right, "there is no better way to end it".

So thanks to Flavia and Roberta for this great week end and this great tournament.

PS It's not over though, but sadly I dont think Roger can win his final too...
