Many people wanna play this game. We know that Top Spin 4 has died unfortunately, servers are unstable lately and people doesn't play almost. Otherwise, that is not true to say that TS4 is dead. TS4 with updates is dead, not the whole game. Which means that it doesn't look like anymore a kind of tennis version of Just Dance, where you have to tap a button in a very accurate timing because it had turned into a control shots game. I'm not sure this is such a bad thing .

Anyway, like many people here, I dream of a TS5. But many clues (no annoucement, 2k Czech studio closed, etc.) make me think that it's not sure at all we have one day a new TS, whatever it is in 6 months or 2 years...

Yes, you're right but I think we have to promote this. 2K Sports must heard us and if many people sign, surely it will be considered by the company.

I really hope they will release a new one! I think they put effort on NBA 2K 2014 on PS4 (which has incredible graphic and realism btw!), maybe they will now have time to develop a new TS!
We don't need much change, just improve graphics a little, a better balance of some shots and trainers, and update the players with maybe added some more choice as well!not such a hard work!

I don't want to discourage you about that, but i doubt it will change something.
If we don't have any news about ts 5 now, i think it's more a good thing than a bad thing. They are probably working on it.
Otherwise we will have already an official announcement about the end of the ts series (like MLB).
And they are waiting for more ps4/xbox one sold to release the game.

Add to your points:
a) Online doubles must be possible without needing to have a friend at one's home. It'd add huge variety and fun to the game.
b) Too people use Becker, and if they serve perfectly this makes a game emtpy of fun (I mean, even if we can beat them, it's still unfunny).
c) Speaking about Becker (and all serve and volley players), stop volleys should be harder, it's unreasonable to see players winning with a good serve and a stop volley 90% of points.
d) Stat development should be limited properly. No more Serve 100 volley 90, no more Serve 95 power 95: the World Tour could be great, if only cheaters were stopped, and in my opinion it wouldn't take much. Just set a limit of 90 for each single stats, and a limit of, say, 170 for combinations of stats like power and serve, or volley.
e) Find a way to make defensive lobs, defensive drop shots, and serving from sideway position impossible. I wonder how, but it is really needed.
f) Does it make sense that Federer is weaker than Rafa and Nole, and Becker weaker than Sampras, in spite of reality? Federer serve is wildly underrated, stats of Rafa Nole are ok, Fed should be on their level, not stronger nor weaker.
g) Perhaps introduce cases where ball is called out or in, but there can be a mistake, and one can ask the eagle's eye?
h) Some more shots should hit the net, instead of going out.
i) Replays: currently, people stop any replay, especially when points are more spectacular. Solution is simple: offer each player the possibility to force 2 replay a set (for example) of their won points.

By the way, I think the server service has been shut.

autumngloaming, you're the only guy who, since last update, think that Becker is too strong and serve-volley too much efficient. I guess we are majority to have opposite feeling : this game, with udate, is kingdom of defense and control shots, especially on ITST.

Other point : in reality, Becker was weaker than Sampras, it's an fact .

@HuntingGlobe : I'm not so sure that not having any news about a wish-but-not-sure-to-be-released game is such a good thing. At best, it means TS5 won't be out before one year, because infos about new games usually start to be published 12 months at least before we can find game in stores. At worst, it means there won't be TS anymore because of lack of interest of people for tennis game, referring to poor numbers of TS4 and VT4 sales.

(And i'm not just saying that because i'm a no.1 Rafa fan.)

there defence is on another level obviously.
It has only been recently that Federer has shown more agressiveness.

Being more offensive doesn't mean being weaker.
It's a different style of play. So it's ok if Rafa has super speed, what it's not ok is that Rafa have better serve than Roger (61 to 60, if I can recall).
Or better, it's not ok that Federer serve is only 60/100, when in reality this shot is way more important for him.
Same thing for backhand: ok, it's his weak shot, but 63/100? I think it's too low. Considering that Rafa has 74 on bh, and his bh is not so better than Roger's bh.

It goes the same with power. I know Federer is not a "power player", but still, 79 seems not so much. I would have raised it to 84-85.
So the problem is not the play style of Nadal and Djokovic, but the fact that Federer has not the weapons to fight them. When in real tennis, it's completely different. Now, in 2014, and even more back in 2009-10, when the game was developed.

Other things I can think about: Djokovic has a better forehand than backhand (83 to 78), that's really wrong XD
Murray has NO serve (55) and low power (68), aaaaand....a better forehand than backhand (84-74).
