RG F NADAL vs DJOKOVIC

Postby Saarbrigga » Fri, 06 Jun 2014 17:20

Nadal is the first men s player ever to reach the RG final 9 times.
8-0 in finals.

If the weather would be like 2-3 days ago, windy, wet and about 20 degrees celsius (68 degree fahrenheit), Djokovic would have a chance, maybe 50-50 or 51-49 Nadal.

But according to the weather forecast in southwest Germany (my location, which is usually similar to Paris), it will be around 32 celsius (90 fahrenheit) on Sunday.
That means Nadal s top spin will be as effective as it can be...Djokovic never palyed Nadal in RG on this hot conditions.

So it should be a 80-20 in favour for Nadal.

I say he s gonna take it in straight sets, maximum in 4.

Nadal in 3 sets, Djokovic won all his match in a weird way, for me they are "trompe l'oeil" victories. Cilic & Gulbis for instance outplayed him on certain periods of their match, and he mostly won because of their mistakes & lack of reliability.

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Nope... Not what they're saying here in Paris... Rain expected and low temperatures...

Nadal is the favourite (hope he will not come out and say Djokovic is the one).
50:50 match. Expecting again a 5 set match. I go with Novak.

Is Pascal Maria known to keep an eye on time between serves?

First set Nole 6-3. Nadal's been mis-hitting plenty of forehands.
