Before the tournament i said for myself that i will be and must be satisfied if fed reaches the quarters. Regardless to his achievements he is nr6 right now and was not a favourite for the title imo and is still not. He was not my favourite for the semis, too.
Now that he got his way into the semis (again ;-)) i am happy and i dont care about how absolutely lucky he was and if he gets out in 3 i wont mind that much.
But rafa vs fed is a good reason for a day free at least to enjoy fed in the semis.
he might wont have this luck in the next grand slams quarters...

Well, think about Nadal or Federer (but mostly Nadal)...
They miss the Australian title since 2009 and 2010 (with just one final in two, 2012 Nadal), now they get the chance to win another Grand Slam trophy, one of the Majors that (for different reasons) they need to win.

And before them...just one more obstacle left...just one more match to win...to write History, again...just one more man to defeat...and this man is...*drum roll*.....Stan.

Now...who you think is gonna win the final? 8)

Federer reaching semis was not luck. He deserved it the ways he's been playing recently.

Anyways I think it's gonna be nadal in 4 with same old story of federer winning the first set and then losing the next three

I agree with your prediction, Ali. If Fed was playing like last months, I would have said Nadal in straights. In fact, he's more playing like 6 or 7 years ago, when he often won first set vs Rafa playing tennis from another world (remember his 6-1 to Nadal at Roland Garros in 2006, before crumbling... it was kind of tennis lesson given by an E.T to Rafa... problemn of tennis lessons is that they usually don't last same duration than a best-of-5 game  ). So yeah, Fed will win first set then will probably be crushed by the unstoppable spanish truck).

Further more, I unfortunately have to agree with Robbin92 who think that with Stan victory vs Nole (so much deserved win, by the way...), final game risks being uninteresting. Last (few) examples of guys reaching their first GC final after years on the tour are not reassuring : Gonzalez, Soderling (even if it's twice for him), Berdych... Wawrinka is more in a situation similar to that guys' than in Del Potro situation when he won quite surprisingly US Open in 2010, at only 21.

Hope I'm wrong, 'cause final game will be one of the only matches I'll be able to watch (other ones were last week-end) at this OA edition.

Stan's never taken a set off Rafa, it is a straight-up retard's bet to bet on Wawrinka in this one...even though I would like to see him win a GS, the smart money is not on Wawrinka...the force is not with him
