TS3 was released in 2008...TS4 in 2011.

= 3 years later

2011-2014 = 3 years

No chance TS5 is coming this year?

I think it's quite simple : Top Spin 2 was somehow a failure in terms of sale, because it was released with the launch of the Xbox 360.

They won't do again the same mistake, and will wait the number of consoles installed is good enough to launch a new top spin. A tennis game is indeed a niche and it cannot have success with only a few millions of consoles sold worlwide.

Regarding the fact the announcement of Top Spin 4 happened 7 months before its release plus the economic statement mentionned below, I bet it won't be out before march 2015 and even march 2016.

Well, 2K has decided to not develop further entries in their baseball series MLB 2K (at least for the time being, can change in the future again). If you go to https://www.2k.com/games then you neither find Top Spin series nor MLB series anymore. Even using the search on that page, you don't find anything under "Top Spin". You can find some pages by 2K related to Top Spin 4, but nothing on their main site.

It also seems that Top Spin 4 does not have a separate section in the 2K Forums (2K Sports Forum and 2K Forum have been merged, MLB with same fate, no more separate forum): http://forums.2k.com/forum.php

So, I would not expect anything in the near future.

I noticed the same. 2K apparently wants nothing to do with tennis.

Hopefully another game developer/publisher can take the reigns (Rockstar would be nice).
