Please help...cant load character sheets!

Hi Ive downloaded the itst mod patch and also place it in the tennis elbow folder. I can seee that the main screen has changed with Andy Murray in the background but i cant seem to load all the characters? All slots are empty!
also i still have world tour mode etc. is this right? The gameplay in practice seems the same to me with guides where to hit the ball etc. Anyone know if this is right?
