I'm sorry VMoe, but I think the ATP rules consider the points can't be retired before the tournament starts. The points are reattributed once the tournament is finished. So everyone keep his 2012 points for the draw.

Ex : Federer still had his 2000 points earned last year for the draw of 2013. He's still at 7740 today.

Completely depends on when the tournament starts: Points are valid a whole year in ATP Ranking. So, Federer's points will drop on July 8th 2013. If Wimbledon 2013 started after that date (some tournaments get a new date from time to time, for example Paris Bercy and Wourld Tour Finals in 2012, where Federer's points dropped before the tournaments started), his points wouldn't count. At ITST it should be the same, but I don't think the site takes the date the points were added last year, but rather when the tournament started that year.

Rankings updated: Wimbledon points still there from last year (as it should be, I agree C4iLL), Roland Garros points added and AEGON Championships points added even though another tournament was not finished starting in the same week.

Draw is out (see opening post), seems more or less balanced.

PS: Rumor has it we will see a little surprise later today.

EDIT: The surprise was the Wimbledon Preview.

Robbin92 def. EL_Croato 2-6 3-6 6-3 7-5 6-1

After seeing my draw, playing Croato in r64, I was happy cause I knew it would be a nice challenge to play him. Maybe I could have underestimated him a bit, but his win against Cerji already showed he would be able to do me damage. And Croato was certainly doing damage to me in these first two sets!

I started off pretty well, getting to 0-30 on his service but he managed his way out of it. These game became typical in the first set, I got the lead in most games but on the important points he showed great tactical and technical level. He broke me in my first service game, where I was 40-15 up. At 3-1 I broke back to 3-2, and storming trough to 40-0 on my service. I already thought I made a nice comeback in this set, but he "smelled" my loss of concentration and won the next six points in a row to break me again. At 5-3, Croato served for the set. I got in the game, creating 1 or 2 break points but he served them away and concluded on his first set point.

He got a huge confidence boost and continued playing awesome in the second set. In the first set I had chances, and I was a bit annoyed that I didn't concretize them but in this second set I was just dominated by Croato from everywhere in the court. At 5-2, he broke me again to get a 2-0 set lead.

At this point I finally started to think tactically, in the first two sets I basically played a too simple game, attacking the BH to often. Croato anticipated really good on this so I was even dominated in BH to BH rallies. I changed my game a bit around in the third set, attacking the forehand more and going some more to the net. It paid off at my own service, as I didn't faced any break points in the rest of the match. I made some more winners than before and got some confidence back. Though, breaking him was a real challange in this set. It took me seven break points, distributed over 2 games, before I finally broke him. I was a bit nervous to serve the match out, but my first service finally became to do some damage so it ended well for me. (served 40% in the second set, opposed to 82% in the fifth).

The fourth set was, together with the first, the one with the most tension and sensation. For the first time, there were some games in a row where we couldn't do anything on the opponent services. At 4-5 I had to serve to stay in the match, when I realized this my play became a bit nervous again but in the end I won the game to 30. At 5-5 Croato played some good tactical services + third balls and got to 40-0. Remembering that he broke me when I was 40-0 up in the first set, I didn't gave up the game and did play some good points. At deuce, I think, he hit a double fault off which I gratefully profitated in the next point, breaking him for a 6-5 lead. I had to serve it out again, and really wanted to prevent a tiebreak from happening, luckily for me the game wasn't very close (won it to 15) so I had no opportunity to choke.

After this set I felt I had to release some of my concentration, I was playing with so much intensity that I decided to let one game go to catch some breath. It was a very good decision, as after he won the first game I won the next six in a row playing very focused. I must admit, that after the second break I placed in this set, taking a 4-1 laed, I felt he lost his believe which I can understand perfectly after being 3 points from victory in the fourth. He took some more risk in the last two games, leading to some more errors, so I concluded it on my first match point.

After this summary I want to thank my friend Croato for this amazing match, his incredible level (especially in the first two sets) and great sportmanship. I'm happy that I showed the mental to fight back (though I have some headache now because all the focus I put into it ). These are the matches one plays TE for! Elias, I know how you must have felt in the USO last year. Anyways, I hoped it would become an epic match and it most certainly was! Unfortunately, the .dmo is too big to upload as attachment but if anyone wants to see it just ask ;)

Just rar it. ;)

For sure it was a great battle guys! Congrats to both of you :!:

By the way Vmoe won the bet. I told him that Croato will win in 5 before start of the match and Vmoe said that you will win in 4 or 5. So congrats Vmoe. Next time I will beat you.

Nice thriller, it was exciting following the score in the lobby when you were down 4-5 in the 4th, etc :)
Seems El Croato reaches a solid level lastly, congrats you both. i won't wish you 3 matches like this one in a row, it's thrilling but exhausting as hell :P

About the .dmo, just .rar it, then you should be able to upload it on the forum i think.

It seems the experience has paid + the fact Croato struggles to conclude the matches he leads :s

Yep I think experience helped me a bit. Though Croato didn't choked in my opinion, he hasn't missed any opportunities really. He got break point in 4 games, and broke me in all four. I was 6 out of 10.

I've uploadeded the dmo as .zip as attachment.

J. Grilo (Federer) vs. Vito DI MAIO (Federer) [4:6; 6:3; 7:6(1); 6:1]

It was a close match. Vito had the better start at the beginning and he caught me on the wrong foot. We had to stop on 4:2, break for him, and played the rest today. But i couldn't break him.

The 2. set was better in my case. I was more focus, made only 2 unforced errors and took the 1. advantage to take a break.

The 3. set was hard. It looked like he could gain this set. He had some very nice points. He improved his play and precision, compared to our last matches. He was 5:3 in front and needed only 2 points to win the 3. set and he was serving. Luckely i came back and won the tiebreak. Especially after his break on the 3. set, i was pretty worried, if i could come back to the match.

I am out of Wimby. I will make a report of my won and my lost in the tournament.

Р64: R.Federer (BUL) def. Martan (Berdych) 6/4 6/1 6/2

1st set: It was a strange set! At 1/0* 30/40 suddenly his antivirus showed up so I won the point and broke him. Because of this important point which I won unfair I broke him. So I gave him in my next game 3 free points. I saved two of the BPs, but on the third he rushed the net and with a volley on the line he broke me back. At *2/2 he broke me again because of his net rushing and my errors. In the next game I had 2 BPs to broke him back, but after nice attacking play he hold his serve. But at 3/4* I broke him after a ball on the baseline and an error from him. At 5/4* he was serving to stay in the set. I had a SP and after a lob in out I won the set. Really strange set! With 5 breaks and 4 consecutive games for me. First set I was W/E +12 and he was +0.

2nd set: I broke him twice after his serve started to be not so useful and I was attacking good. I was +10 and he was +1, but my serve was 90% in and the points won on first serve- 79%, so he won only 5 points on my serve!

3rd set: I was leading 4/0* and had a point for 5/0, but he hold his serve and broke me on the other for *4/2. But I broke him again and won the match on my serve on love.

Martan broke me in all three games he had BPs, so a great efficient from him! I think that he wasn't at his best for sure. So I can only wish him good luck! And to organize his team for Davis Cup! :) Here are the stats and the demo:

R32: inseedious(Gasquet) def. R.Federer (BUL) 7/6(2) 6/3 6/3

We were in hurry to play this match because tomorrow he is going on a trip to 10(deadline), so we had to play yesterday or today. Yesterday I was on a birthday so we couldn't play it. Today I found in my computer a ****' trojan horse. It was one of the worst. So I had to reinstall my Windows and it is really hot today, so I was really nervous.

1st set:
So in the start he broke me easily after my fingers were not ready already for playing. I broke him on *2/0 with love, but and I don't know how I did it. I wasn't in the match already. So of course after I broke him luckily he broke me again! At *5/3 he was serving for the set and leading 30/0, but I won the next four points so I broke him! A total WTA match! So I was again in a form, not the best, because I was making too much errors, but in a good form. In the tiebreak I made too much UE, so I lost it on 2. He won the first set with 4 more points than mine in total. So before the tiebreak I had 1 point more. Our BP efficient were perfect! 2/2 and for the two.

2nd set: He broke me at *1/1. On *3/2 I was leading 15/40, but I made the most stupid error on the net! On the deuces the stamina played his role so he hold his serve. On *4/3 and was leading 0/30, but I lost next four points. :? At *3/5 he broke me again and he won the 2nd set. I had 2 BPs but converted no one. He is 2/4. W/UE he was -2 and I was -3.

3rd set: I broke him on *1/1, but then he broke me back with love after I had 0% concetration. On the next game I had again a BP, but after a very stupid error I didn't convert it. :? On *3/3 I had another BP, but with good attacking play he saved it. So when you don't convert your chances, you will be punished. And It was right. I was leading 40/15 on my serve, but he won the next 4 points and broke me. . He was serving for the match and leading 40/0, I saved this three MPs, but after an ace he won the match. :)

I have to congrats inseedious, because of his great defense! He was like a wall today. But and I made too much errors and my netplay was one of the worst I ever had. :? I didn't convert my chances, instead inseedious who was more efficient. I think that I could be bigger challenge for inseedious. Good luck in the next rounds mate. :) Here are the stats and the demo (there are some really nice points, which all I lost :c )

It was a great match yeah! Unfortunately, I couldn't be aggressive with Gasquet (when I chose him I thought I would have used him in an aggressive way, but I was wrong), but I managed to win the match in a tactical way and with some smart net points. He could maybe try to turn the match on his side with more net point, exploiting the fact that my game was based mostly on defense and countering, but he made too much errors there. On the other side, I'm happy about my match, I managed to keep my concentration during the whole match, with just a little blackout when serving for the first set. Considering that keeping a service game with Gasquet is not easy at all, especially on grass (some b1+b2 serves were just 160 kph fast and some b1 serves were just a good server's second service...), 3 break (1 in the blackout) given in the whole match vs a good returner as Federer is good I think. GL dimi in the next tourneys!
