Need a help!

Hey guys,
I don't usually complain for problems about TE, but now I have a real problem! This is the situation:
I haven't played TE online from Saturday or Sunday. Today I downloaded the 1.15 patch and I went in online mode. I went in "join a game" and I see no games. Then I host and it says: Everything seems alright, but noone can join me! I did a fresh install 2-3 times, restarted my computer and router, but it doesn't repair. I really need a help guys!

P.S.:I sent a message and to manutoo.

EDIT: The players can join me, when I host in private! :roll:

Sorry to disappoint you as I don't have solution yet. I don't guarantee that i'll be helpful, but could you just post some screenshots from network play and join host menus. You know you press button F11 and gives you screenshots in TE 13 folder.

I just wanna see how it looks like. If of course it doesn't bother you much.

Hi !

I had the same problem than you. I downloaded 1.15 wednesday. On the evening I was able to see every room when trying "Join game".
Then, when I tried to play thursday, I only saw some room (from 0 to 5 ...). I tried restarting game, fresh install twice : didn't work. There is the difference with you : I only restarted router and it worked :?

Thank you for replying guys! But I think that this problem is out, because it is 6 AM CET here and now I can see 2 games! :tu :tu I am waiting now to see if anyone can join me..

EDIT: I think that the problem didn't repair. :oops: :oops: :oops:

Umm check your windows firewall manually or Antivirus firewall if you have. Try experimenting with IPv4 and other kinds of IP.

My windows firewall is stopped. The most stupid things is that this problem is random! Today at morning the problem was here. Today at 13.00 CET, the problem was out and now again there is the problem! :? :? :roll: :roll:

I'm facing the same issue Grigor, it occurs randomly but I think it's related to this:

Mana Games will have availibity issues in the incoming days

Hello,

the server where ManaGames.com is currently hosted will close on next Monday, so I'm in the process to move everything to a new server, which means the website, Forum & online mode won't be available during the transfer. Hopefully, this should last only a few hours, plus a few minutes now & then the time I set up everything correctly, within the next few days.
If everything is alright it'll begin tomorrow (ie: Wednesday) or Thursday, and end the following day.

Before the start of the transfer, the Forum will be closed (ie: it'll be readable, but you won't be able to post anything), and your online mode progress (ie: changes of ELO, reputation, etc...) will be lost on the next server (for example, on Friday, you'll get back to your stats of Wednesday).

This change might be welcome, as the current server was regularly going down lately, probably because of the heavier traffic than usually it got in the past weeks.

At least you know the problem is not with TE13. You've your ports open, you can host or people can join via private IP.
So the only problem you've is Joining others.
That's actually what Butcher has I think. He can't join anybody ever, he hosts all the time.

Just keep checking your firewall, go to its settings to see if outcoming and incoming connections are okay,

Weird one, maybe due to Managames server change. If this is the reason, you may try to flush your windows DNS cache, not sure it will work but this is worth a try :

1 - Right-click on the Dos command prompt icon in the "Programs" menu. Choose "Run as administrator."
2 - there; use the command : ipconfig /flushdns

it should display a message like ""Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache" "

3 - type "exit" and then enter.

try TE again to see if anything changed.

I will try it, but "Programs" menu?

Just hit the start button on your keyboard and type "command prompt" that will do it. Also restart after you've flushed your DNS as windows usually keeps the adresses.
