In the first set yes he was slightly injured. But in the 3rd when he was down 0-4 he started conserving energy by not going for certain balls and wildly hitting others. He started playing normal again in the fourth and in the tiebreak played aggressive whenever he could, worked the point when he had to, and didn't give up on any ball nadal hit. He could have chose to play that way down 0-4 but he didn't...which was smart.
