Being a gentleman is hypocrite and easy. I would have some problems with myself being so false. They live in a bubble, the bubble of capitalism. It would be fun some real thoughts between top guys.

^ Agreed.

Something I posted on another board:

Code: Select all
The top 4 become a "corporate product" - rather then players/humans. Fabricated gentleman, that will do anything just to appease the lords, that pay for their luxuries in life.

Comparing monetary status of Gulbis and the Top 4 is ridiculous. They are ALL wealthy individual with very little between them and very little is able to affect their wealth at this point. Yet the Top 4 remain the "corporate dulls", sellouts.

They are simply Egomaniacs that so afraid to say or do something wrong as not to disrupt their cash flow and the perfect image, that they are willing to sell the mere essence of their characters.

Gulbis was not calling for EVERY player to be that way, he was pointing out the obvious lack of diversity at the top, the same top that represents tennis and creates the biggest pull.
