Hello I wonder if the mod is ITST 1.12 for tennis elbow 2011 or 2013, and as installed in either career mode I can play with players like Nadal, Berdych, Tsonga, Federer etc ... only friendly matches

Update 15/03/2013 :

updated ITST Mod to v. 1.13.

(remember not overwriting the ITST.ini with your previous one because this can lead to textures mismatches, better to re-create your controller mappings manually from scratch or just copy paste your [keys1] or [joy1/joy2] section from your old .ini file to the new one).

>> better to do a fresh TE install before applying 1.13 <<

2. ITST Mod 1.13 Standard version (146mb) :

Installer :

https://mega.co.nz/#!8J9ygBwQ!MCRP32-d3 ... qKkKNyk0Ec

.rar archive : http://www.mediafire.com/?8u49nb9rspo0d5x

2. ITST Mod 1.13 No Adds on 3D courts version (136mb) :

http://www.mediafire.com/?69mooq4m2qa574b

https://mega.co.nz/#!pBFFUDgB!C9UrChULD ... vZEGPSumRo

Both are automated install programs. Just launch the installer and point it to the TE folder you want to install the mod.

* Updated roster stats.

As usual you can check the roster spreadhsheet here :

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... LTEE#gid=0

1. Roster Stat's Changes from ITST Mod 1.12 to ITST Mod 1.13

In ITST Mod 1.12 was predominantly played on Plexicushion and Clay, so it made some flaws obvious regarding balance of attack and defence. Indoors it was not that glaring back with 1.10 and also in 1.12 it seems ok (some Nadal's slayed indoors). The following points were looked at when balancing attacks and defence.
The passages in italic mention the changes, whereas one can show the explanation for the changes by showing the spoiler (for those interested).

1.1 Speed vs. Power

Most from the group with highest speed stats (84 to 86) get 1% less Speed (some exceptions).

Most characters with Speed over 80% will have at least one wing with a Power stat matching or being close to the Speed stats of Djokovic, Murray, Nadal.

Power stats of heavy hitters (Berdych, Raonic, del Potro, Isner) have not been touched much (only Isner), but here we allowed them more Speed to have some defence against increased power from those in higher Speed ranges.

Those in between (Gulbis, Tsonga, Cilic) got slight increases in both Power and Speed.

Spoiler: show
First of all, majority of our match-ups in ITST Mod 1.12 are with Speed > Power. So, it is actually no surprise (considering that Defence was very well possible in TE Vanilla with Power = Speed) that we have too many long rallies on slow surfaces. Average rally length in real tennis matches between Murray and Djokovic does not go beyond 8 shots (last years AO SF between Djokovic and Murray), here I would not be surprised to see a significantly higher number (unfortunately no option to show Average Rally Length in TE except for counting yourself ;)).

Speeds have been already reduced from 1.10 to 1.11 and 1.12, however Power has been left untouched so far. For 1.13 we have increased Power where we thought it was necessary that these characters should be able to hit more winners and finish points quicker against the likes of Murray, Djokovic and Nadal. Example: Federer now has a 84 FH Power, matching the Speed stats of Murray and Djokovic. With all other options of Federer, this is should be enough.

1.2 Spin vs. Power

Therefore spinny characters like Nadal or Verdasco have lowered Power stats.

Those flatter hitting characters have a bit increased power, but someone like Davydenko should not shine through power -- rather taking it early, being consistent.

In general: It is debatable which way to go, but decreasing the power gap between low Spin and high Spin characters (within the same Speed range) should be helpful for balance.

Spoiler: show
As you may have noticed, some characters got their power decreased or only slightly increased. This is due to the relation of Spin and Power. Let me explain this relation a bit more in detail.

The idea (before ITST Mod 1.13) was always to go for comparable pace (like 1mph to 2mph difference in groundstroke pace) for players in the same Speed range. However, we have only considered pace of regular accelerations. So, while Nadal has a 89 Power FH giving 82mph Regular Accelerations, his FH Short Acceleration reaches 76mph with brilliant angles thanks to the Spin. Compare it to del Potro: He gets 83mph Regular Accelerations off his BH, but 74mph with a weaker angle on his Short Accelerations. Now, del Potro's BH is much easier to handle, since you only have to defend against its pace (and depth). Nadal's FH is much more difficult to handle, because you need to stand quite a bit further from the baseline to get a decent shot off the FH.

In our roster spinny characters therefore have powerful shots (Nadal, Verdasco), while those with lower Spin (Davydenko) have less power. Putting Davydenko's BH against Nadal's FH (only 72mph Short Acceleration with Davydenko's BH :c ), what a bad match-up.

Now, raw pace seems quite overwhelming when you don't have quick enough reactions (80 Power with 24 Spin, for example), but it kind of pushes you as much back as a spinny FH with 80 Power: In the case with higher raw pace you have to stand further back to have more time to reach it, but then you can handle it easier. Against the spinny 80 FH Power you are pushed back in order to handle the shot well (or to get a Shoulder Height Acceleration Bonus), otherwise you make an error (when using an acceleration) or you hit a short ball (when using b1 or b1+down).

While on high level this may be balanced, on medium level this might be easier for the user with higher raw pace. This also depends on the surface: On Clay and Plexicushion spinny characters are favoured, while on grass or indoor hard the flatter hitting characters will have an advantage (or should have).

1.3 Consistencies and dealing with weak/strong wings

In general: Weak wings have around 75% Consistency and strong wings around 85% Consistency (plus/minus some percentages). This is regarding those with one wing having power above the other one by a couple of percentages.

Players with FH Power almost equal to BH Power: Nishikori, Davydenko, Almagro, Haas, Nalby, Wawrinka, Gasquet belong here. Those with lower power (Davydenko and Nishikori) have above 80% Consistency on both wings (but below 85%), whereas the others go by 85/75 (emphasizing FH) or 75/85 (emphasizing BH).

Special cases: Characters with many attacking options (Federer) or great defence (Murray, Nadal) have some lowered Precisions on one wing.

Spoiler: show
So far it has not been that interesting to run around the BH, only in some cases this was useful. Players using Djokovic, for instance, were better off hitting a BH than running around the FH, whereas the real Djokovic is always looking to bring his FH into play. Therefore we decided to go for this general concept of 85/75 and 75/85 (with some exceptions), where the 85 wing allows very good Short Accelerations in addition to good control of depth on regular shots. With the 75 Consistency wing one can still hit good Short Accelerations, but this wing will give the opponent some shorter balls. In addition, wings can be made weaker (more error-prone) by rather adjusting Precision instead of Consistency.

1.4 Net Stats and Drop Shot Stats

Minimum of 70% Smash for every character.

Every Power Baseliner having at least 70% Net Presence.

Llodra and Lopez down to 88% Net Presence.

Nadal and Murray got -20% on Drop Shot Stat.

Spoiler: show
Well, constructing a good point against a Defender, attacking at the net and then struggling with the smash -- priceless. :mrgreen: So, some increase there for everyone, even the Defenders (encouraging them to move forward ;)), but only for Power Baseliners increased Net Presence by a good couple of percentages. Llodra and Lopez got a slight drop in Net Presence to give them a bit less jump at the net (manutoo made the jump bonus dependant on Net Presence, in addition to player style), we'd rather play with their wings to balance them from there.

Finally it has been some tactic from certain Nadal/Murray users to spin someone behind the baseline and then being able to hit a great drop shot with Nadal/Murray -- easy to do with over 90% there. Therefore this change.

1.5 Stamina

Has been increased globally a bit.

Spoiler: show
AO 2013 -- no need to say more.

* Interface

- Ingame CRC Check: You can test the function with F5/F6 dialogs. The CRC's are actually set with current 1.13 stats.
- Proper menu strings for match save/resume, drop shot winners, etc. have been added
- The selected court is now displayed properly in the online Lobby
- Save button re-enabled in the character sheet, to allow saving characters with your custom outfits
- Some character customization options disabled : Face, Skin color, Hair

* Courts

- Several 3D surface textures have been re-done.
- Replaced 2D courts : Dubai, buenos aires, Zagreb, Montpellier, Vina Del Mar , Sao Paulo, Delray Beach
- Added court : Praha Davis Cup

* Surfaces

- Clay physics : the main clay surface is a bit slower, countered with a bit more inertia
- Madrid/Rome are still a bit faster, extremely close to vanilla clay
- Plexicushion fastened a little bit (very subtle change). 0.005 less friction.
- Cement fastened a little bit (very subtle change). 0.005 less friction.

* Animations

- Wawrinka serve by megyaem30

* Textures

- Some AO2013 outfits added.

* Sounds

- New umpire sounds (Steve Ullrich) from El Croato
- New ball impact sounds: It's a mix using Lucian AO sounds, replacing two samples with bunburry ones (slow serve and regular serve), and adding two samples I made (one acceleration hit and an acceleration serve) from some Federer/Blake 2008 AO video, and adding 13 samples from El Croato Indian Wells pack.

    - New grunts from Kneza :

    - Davydenko
    - Federer serve grunt
    - Gasquet serve grunt
    - Del Potro
    - Baghdatis
    - New Ferrer grunts (old ones still available)
    - Almagro
    - Verdasco
    - Lopez
    - Monfils
    - Nalbandian
    - Raonic serve grunt
    - Isner serve grunt
    - Simon
    - Tipsarevic
    - Tomic
    - Wawrinka

    I adjusted the volume for most samples, depending how discrete/loud are the real players on court. Also made some denoising/declicking for some samples.

Thanks to all members who helped us during the test sessions, namely Ritchie, Inseedious, Vramvrim, Florian.

Note : An unlocked test version will come a bit later.

Regardless of the quality of the sound, I've a technical issue with the service sound.
1 time out of 3 or 4 the sound is not triggered, it's as if the referee announce is too long and prevents the service sound to be triggered.
Am I alone to have this issue ? It's really disturbing and it happens while I return or while I'm returning ^^

Some shots, especially serves, have too low sounds to me, and I think that the female fault announcement can be annoying because of the applauses it contains... but the main problem is that we play with a huge variety of hardware components, speakers, headphones, audio cards, etc., so the best choice is to build a personal sound folder, chosing the best sounds between the several sound folders we have on the site.

1st serve - ball in half of the net and umpire says "let, 2nd serve" :lol:

Better: sound when ball hit the racket
Worse: not clean voice by umpire, especially when he is saying actual result
