The game needs to be reversed to the point of control shots being as weak as they were in Ts3 and power shots dominating rallies. Its not acceptable for weak serves to not get punished. For the Ts4 developers to abandon the game like this is unheard of.

By "unheard of," if you mean they do it each and every time, you are correct.

I didn't see Ts3 having these kinds of problems. Trying to make a completely new game when Ts3 was already so good was a bum move. If you lost a match in Ts3 it felt like a hurricane passed through. In Ts4 you wish that the other player would just end the match. Playing 20 shot plus rallies every point against a control shot user is just too boring and a big waste. Hit a power shot into the open part of the court while the opponent is on the other side, he warps there. 99% of the time the only winner you can hit is a control shot angled at the volley box. This feels like billiards.

I'm with Cro. I don't remember the developers really doing anything after the release of the previous TS games. I think they fixed one thing in each of the three previous games (TS1 - "dropshot of death", TS2 - "empty momentum shots", TS3 - don't remember) - no more updates afterwards.

Removed the ability to create players fast, forcing us to remove the update to create new players.

In anything, TS4 has THE best support since day one. Unfortunately, the product was just inferior to previous versions, the sales showed it - support got dropped. Lost "bet" by 2K to attempt and capitalize on both markets - SIM and Arcade. Once the novelty weared off - people simply got bored with repetitiveness and lack of options.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

Play Kinect sports table tennis, it never gets old and the old players on there are super fast, true hand speed skill

Motivated Beef, i think u re just very far from the swissmaestro level; i played against him a long time ago in the 2kopen (a few time ) with his roger federer and he is insanly good. That's all.
