Australian Open 2013 to be slightly delayed

Postby djarvik » Mon, 14 Jan 2013 15:28

Please be aware that Australian Open 2013 will be slightly delayed.

There will be new patch released shortly, ITST 1.12. It will have quite a few stats changes, a small amount of animations changes as well.

Once the patch released, we will give players a chance to review it and change their player for Australian Open if they wish to do so. Then the tournament will be launched.

Please bare with us while we attempt to accomplish this in a timely matter.

Thank you!

Well you can change player on every turnament anyway, can't you? I already did it a few times.

Correct, but you cannot change once the tournaments start. Since we gonna be making a few stat changes, members that already picked their player may want to reconsider. Hence I said we will give some time to do just that. It will not be a lot of time though, as we need to start the tournaments.

Well I did it a few times during a turnament.

According to FAQ on main site

Can I switch players during a tournament or a season?

Yes. You can use as many of your created players as you want during a tournament or during the ITST season. It is completely your choice. You cannot however, change players during a match if your game crashes & you agree to restart it from the score. Also you cannot use any of the pro characters like Sampras or Hewitt at any time during the ITST season.

I really didn't/don't wanna cheat but it is in FAQs

Did you create these players? ;)

These FAQs are design for Tennis Games and Tours where the user creates his own player.

If you look at TE registration, you are forced to pick a player before registering. That player gets entered into a draw and always stays there through the rounds. I am sure you noticed that. ;)

I am afraid if you did that - you were breaking the rules.

I am afraid I did but I propably lost these matches

Anyway I am sorry, I didnt know these FAQs are for other games I found them next to TE turnaments scheloude and I trough it might be old and you played with created players before or so but I had no idea it might be for another game as it is in TE section, it is kinda confusing for newbies like me :?

You actually right, we need to "adjust" these FAQ to be specific to TE on TE page. We just never had to do it before. I will take care of it this week.

AO Draw will be released at 18:00 CET.

If you wish to make a player change based on 1.12 Patch, please do so asap. No changes will be allowed once the draw is released.
