Buying a computer game

Postby Tamthewasp » Fri, 26 Oct 2012 22:11

We are all gamers obviously. We all love tennis, some are more fanatical than others but that's not my point...

When buying a new game, what is the most important aspect for you to spend the ridiculous amounts of money on it?

Is it storyline? Graphics? online Capability?

Many, Many reasons people buy games, fan of the franchise, sport, I'm not the right person 2 talk about why ppl buy RPGs and the ME or batman series never appealed to me.

What is the first thing you look for in a game
To win is to achieve success. To compete and lose and try again is greatness

Inside a given genre, I usually trust scores of Metagamer and stuff like that.

consider these :-
What kind of processor does it have? The CPU, or processor, is what makes your machine run, so it's a logical place to start.
RAM: how much does speed matter for you?
How much memory?
What kind of video card?
How many peripherals?

I usually just buy used games, not new, to save money.

The most important thing is to do your research and shop around for the best price. With older games, a lot of the market is made up of individual sellers, so prices can vary by as much as $20-$30 depending on the game, especially if it's a collector's item.

To me, it's important to buy a game according to my PC requirements. I usually research for the best price around $20 to $30 depending on the game. Sometime, I also go with used games instead of new to save money.
