I did never pay attention to this difference, speaking sincerely.
Basically for 2 reasons.
First of all, there are a few S&V players in TS4. World Tour, online matches or something else.
And then, I use the same tactic when I face a volley player. I stay on the baseline right on return (cause these players may have great skilled serve, but not so much power, so they must use slice and kick mainly), try to use short slices or short top spin shots on return. Or even trying to hit a flat winner down the line, but it works better when the service is not sliced or with top spin.
And you must be sure when you hit the ball.
On the contrary, when the opponent is at the net, I try to hit short and slow passing shots, using top spin mainly, expecially with control shots. And lobs, of course.
And I also try to stay inside the court, in order to prevent drop volleys.
I never tought about who was better between those two coaches, cause these tactics always worked for me
PS I almost forgot, I use a power player, not a baseline player.
