Right setup for different court

Can someone explain me how much the kind of court (clay, hard....) has an influence on the match and what are the best setup choices (speed, stamina, power...) for the different courts?

Not exactly an expert but I know the clay courts seem to take away the effectiveness of a high powered serve and general power game, so for that surface at least I'd say you probably need strong wings to be able to finish off rallies.

Grass = Big Serve and lots of volley put away

Clay = Speed, stamina and topspin shots ( control is key )

Hard = Strong wings, power and baseline rallies finishing at net moderate.

Really it just depends how you play. The speed difference from clay 2 grass is massive and this is why volleys are key. The ball skips off the surface giving less time 2 your opponent.

I covered the final of Barcelona (you and ShoCase) and actually a lot of your winners are power top spin shot. I was sure power flat shot are more and more dangerous but I wrong

In professional tennis you only really see the three types of courts, and people who do well on grass or hard typically perform differently on clay - possibly because its not as fast. However, in recreational tennis, there are many other types of tennis surfaces that change the game.
