Lendl's record of 94 tournament victories

Postby Marco_Theo_81 » Tue, 21 Aug 2012 14:27

Hi all

I would like to ask, what do you think, can Roger reach 95 Titles?

If he would win the US Open, well, then the 10th title this year would be reality, like in his best times.

Just one more title and he equals McEnroes record of 77 titles.
We all know, this will happen soon... 8)

108 titles, the great Jimmy... well, this would be an outstanding performance.

Ali, do you remember, what you wrote? :)
Ali's quote:
I'm pretty sure Murray will win a slam. Federer is growing old. Nadal always has injuries issues. Djokovic gets shaky sometimes. Del potro and Murray can win majors for sure.

He showed the world, what an 31 years "old" man is still able to do.
Hope he can mantain his fitness.

HOPP ROGER!!

If Federer even gets close to the record, Lendl will kill him (or have him killed).

95 seems a bit difficult for Roger, but you can never count him off.. Only possible if Roger can carry this form next 1-2 years

Maybe if he concentrates on 250's.

Now how about Jimbo's 109 victories (including his absense from many AO's and only winning 4 tournaments after 1984)?

Well let's be realistic. He has 76 now, he can close the year with 80 overall (but I doubt he will). To add another 15 titles, he would need to maintain the same level for another 2-3 years which I think is a bit unrealistic.

thx to everyone, who participate at this poll.

Yes, if he really would arrive at 95, then it must be in the next two years.
