hehe. thats why were seeded second :) wasn't saying were the best team but were definatly up there this year its the best side we've had since 1966. The team is world class everywhere but the left wing, dont think you can say that about all of the teams in that list.

Also i wonder how many of the other votes were cast for England.

Brasil is by far the best team. But it was also the best team in WC 98, so it doesn't matter much ;) Predictions don't count much when the real thing begins.

But definitely Brasil has more chances. This time they are very united (just like WC 2002) and there are several decisive players. Even among the substitutes.

I think Argentina will reach the final, with Germany or Brazil.
I think the argentinian team is thirsty of victory after the disaster of the 2002 WC. Brazil has the best players, thats right, but I think they are far from being a real team. Sometimes having good players isn't enough, they have to be unit and confident in themselves.

Argentina is like that!!!!! :D

hmm i also miss england even if im german... They are defintly my favourite.

Why not Germany?

They maybe have a pretty easy group but in the next round there will be even England or Sweden, maybe Paraguay and than i think in quarter-finals there will be the Netherlands and the German team hasnt won to the big teams for almost 5 and a half years.

So for me England will do it. And to be honest i wish they do it cause english football is the best.

hey,

i think holland will win the WC. they have very good maybe the best single players and just have to grow to one team. then they are good enough to beat argentina and brazil as well.
but i also "drücke die daumen" for my home country germany. we have a young team that can grwo much like in the confed cup so i think we are the underdrog favourite

as surprsises:
i think the ivory coast can make a good result like senegal in 2002. they have a good team and an excellent striker with drogba

:) I agree. :)

In our poule we have serbia&montenegro, ivory coast and argentina. Serbia is though with only 1 goal against them in the qualifiers. Ivory coast have a great attack and have a solid defender in Eboué. The rest of the team seem pretty unknown and probably pretty **** to me. Argentina doesnt seem a real close team to me. They have some good players but overall they are not as good as everyone believes they are. I think Holland and Serbia will go through to the second round.

The world cup should be won by brazil really. They have a world class player for every spot in there team. This doesnt say a lot when your not playing as a team but i think they are operating as a team also.

I wont underestimate germany at all. They have an easy poule to play in so they can play themselfs in the tournament. Besides they are the home playing team (home playing teams always come far), germany alsways seems to be able to do a bit more then they are capable of in world cups.
