Self created player in 2k Open? WTF?

I played this week a guy who used self created player (power 98 and serve 98 ) in 2k open (PS3 Version)! how is it possible? Bug?

I see you accusing ITST players of cheating or playing unfairly all the time without really backing it up. Unless you are displaying a very dry form of sarcasm and I need a new detector.

You definitely need a new detector, maybe you could ask Bulma, she created a detector for Dragon Balls, maybe she may help you with Sarcasm.

Anyway, here, it's 50% sarcasm, 25% troll, 25% french creativity. Nothing indeed proves it's impossible to modify these files without being detected no ?

Bill said one day on another topic that he could create new pro players by modifying the hexadecimal files, so why some guys here wouldn't do that discretly ?

It would be kinda self-defeating to cheat in some meaningless online exhibition matches, especially while using your main account. If I knew about a cheat like this I would never use it against another player because online-cheaters are scum and you risk losing your chars/account anyway.

I'm sure that editing save files is possible since it's done for many games. However I don't know what specifically you could achieve and many hosted online matches such as the 2k server are able to detect if things like this are done. Typically people doing this I imagine would avoid the world tour and 2k if it were possible.

Though personally I would love to be able to use a 100-all player offline as well as playing against such a CPU char.
