From Eurosport:

TWEET OF THE WEEK: "Roger Federer still adhering to all white even though there is no need #classy" (@WimboGroundsman)

Also, unrelated, Andy Murray telling us about his lack of personality:

PRESS CONFERENCE RIPOSTE OF THE WEEK: "I actually laugh a lot, just not in front of you guys because your questions are just not that funny." (Andy Murray tells the media pack how it really is)

This is Fed's last chance at a singles gold medal (because who cares about doubles) and I think he's going to clinch it. He won't meet Nole or Rafa in the semis, that's another plus.

Ironically his best performance (4th) was in 2000 when he was still a nobody.

Yay! To be honest, I think we might have an outsider win the Olympics. Also, what is the draw? I'd like to see possible match-ups. :3

Do you know Carla Suarez? WTA player..... well she was training at Wimbledon last week, and like you guys said there's no need to follow the all white dress code for the Olympics, so she was training wearing a red dress (Spain's color) and a member of the club approached her an yelled at her "what are you doing in my club playing with that dress? get out", and "according to the media" she left the training court and ....don't know what happened next

The guys spent 4 hours to get to the Olympic village from the airport, the taxi driver, not a pro driver because there're many volunteers helping, and that driver was a volunteer taxi driver, he didn't know how to get to the village and was a bit drunk. The guys arrived to the village at 3.00 am

I love Carla's backhand. Fantastic shot! Wish she would be 3-4 inches taller.

This is unacceptable. I would flip out at start serving at that person, 120mph no less

Carla is one of my fave WTA players.. pity she hasn't really made a breakthrough, but I like watching her - nice game.
WTF is that shit about. Can't believe the rudeness of that. Hope she complained to an official.
Maybe that's the true reason Fed's wearing white - scared of this crazy bitch.

That reminds me. I remember reading that book by Bill Tilden.... he mentions in it something crazy like 'you should wear all white clothes, because it would be immoral to wear black on a tennis court'.

WTF o_o

Seeds are out (well no surprises)

http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Tennis ... -Seed.aspx

The draw will be made on Thursday at 11 a.m. local time.

If there are two players or doubles teams from the same country, they will be drawn in opposite halves of the draw. If there are three or more players/teams from the same country, they will be drawn in different quarters of the draw.

Interesting.

The top 4 all won't want Tsonga or Berdych in their quarter. Janko and del Potro more of a 'bye' QF on grass.
