Murray v Federer.

Talk about anything related to the ATP and WTA tours.

Wats wrong with that? Haven't you seen all other guys celebrating like this. Take nadal and djokovic for example

I'd rather see a player sobbing his heart out instead of some robotic posing. Reminds us that they're humans.

As if those are the only two options...

Look at how Tsonga celebrates or deals with a loss. That's how it's done.

I think it's lame when anybody cries after a loss. Tears of joy are slightly more acceptable.

Yes I m talking about federer, what he did was anyone would do to celebrate.

Even in case of Murray I think it's a hard loss for him. It's natural that he cried although sportsman are known to be rough n tough but still humans.

Yeah, but this was no normal loss for Murray, I mean it's Wimbledon, he's from there. So he should be emotional after losing that final, especially considering how well he played.

So happy Fed won. Back to #1!

What other sport do players start crying after losing a championship match?
Hockey? Basketball? Rugby? Or any individual sports? Boxing? Golf?

Why is this normal in tennis?

I am with emate on this. Bunch of pusiess!

Even Djokovic celebrates better.

Crying after a loss? :? Break some frames or kick the linesman, but don't cry, you are not 12 Andy.

I'm not sure what happens in any of the others, I don't know how they work (in terms of tournaments or leagues or whatever). I dunno, I just sort of see it as a natural reaction at the end of a final. I mean, you put all your effort and heart into the game and you get to the final and get put right down it's bound to be a blow to you. Especially if its the 4th time it's happened.

Also, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCtYxiiqGaE or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7irYgh2rD8I :P

EDIT: In the second one there are some wrestling pics. You can probably ignore those.

Um, Basketball. A bunch of Maverick players cried last year after they won the title. Chris Bosh of the Heat cried after the loss as well--and their coach said multiple people were crying in the locker room as well.
Just this year LeBron cried some after winning the title. Peyton Manning a few years ago in football when he won the Super Bowl. Tiger Woods has cried after winning majors. Heck, Forrest Griffin cried after he won the LH title in the UFC! Alot of other fighters have cried as well. Alot of people do it. It's the pinnacle of their sport, something they all want to reach so badly, that's why they cry.

But hey, I guess that makes them all soft...

Doing pirouette jumping on the court while flexing his arms? Looks pretty dumb imo.

Tears of joy is understandable, my problem is the loser crying, sobbing.

You can shed a tear, but sobbing into the mic? Running of the court to mommy?
